Kiyoung wasn’t too upset about not doing any sightseeing. He’d never been one for any of that touristy bullshit, after all. Unless it was somewhere he thought he’d photograph well, but even then, if missing it meant he got to spend some time with Tommy alone, he didn’t really care much. The afternoon had been spent chatting and laying on the bed together, sometimes falling into comfortable silence as Kiyoung played on his phone or took a catnap on Tommy’s shoulder, but one of them would always break the silence, and the conversation would start again; this time, that was Tommy. He looked up, smiling. “They’re going fairly well-- they’d be going better if we’d had more time to rehearse the choreography for Fly before having to perform it, but I’m learning on the fly,” he admitted quietly. Having Spotlight shoved in his face so soon after leaving them was hard. Having to share his set slot with Halo-- the group they’d cut him from for no reason-- was just throwing more salt in the room, but he liked the actual members. He liked Creed. He supposed he’d be able to get over it eventually, and if not, it’d all be over in January. Propping his head up on his elbow and tossing his phone on the mattress, Kiyoung replied, “how about you? Ruby keeping you and Lance in line?”

Tommy sat up on the hotel bed that he and the other boy were sprawled across, having been talking about nothing for practically the whole afternoon. They all had the day off from the tour, and the rest of the boys Tommy was rooming with were all off somewhere with their girlfriends. Or with each other, Tommy hadn’t really paid much attention when they each mentioned where they were going. He pulled the ends of the sleeves of his sweater over his palms, glancing over at Kiyoung. “Hey, um,” he said, “how’s the tour going for you?” He liked that they were on the tour together, but everyone being on tour also meant that Kiyoung still had to perform with Creed and probably deal with Spotlight because of that, and Tommy would be lying if that didn’t worry him. At least a little bit. Tommy just wanted to make sure Kiyoung was okay. “All your stages going good so far?”
