Adding my own take into the: “Patrick loves art, art loves tashi, tashi loves tennis” train.

Art worships Tashi.

Art hates Patrick for having unearned confidence and knowing that Tashi has always liked that about him.

Tashi is passionate about tennis, she loves Art but she hates him for not sharing her intensity for tennis.

Tashi resents Patrick but is drawn towards his drive and recklessness. Also he gets hard, has a big dick, while she’s sexually incompatible with Art (handjob scenes).
