Goodbye Tumblr

So I’ve effectively stopped posting on here. I’ve just gotten really bored/annoyed with tumblr. I’m gonna keep this here incase I feel like coming back. I’ve started noodling around on instagram (@ruralpunk) if you still want to follow my often boring, but occasionally ridiculous life.

Turns out no, but all of the video game shots are real. It's a game all about killing Nazis and the KKK. Also the ad that this was adapted from was of a in-game nazi getting punched in the head and the ad is titled "There is only one side".

I guess the alt-right trolls on 4chan and Reddit are getting really butthurt about it, calling for a boycott of the game, but they are only bringing more attention to it. It's glorious.

Oh fuck no. Sober and drug free for over four years now, not about to fuck that up for some BS "cure" with no scientific backing. If I wanted to get fucked up I wouldn't need an excuse, I'd just go get high.

After two and a half years medication free...

I'm back in the system. If it helps me with my PTSD and it means I can keep working as a medic I'm ok with it, but this still feels like a bit of a defeat.

I'm in Cranbrook for my first ever meeting as an elected union representative. I'm trying my best to dress up and act like an adult. I keep telling myself not to rip a huge fart in the meeting and then laugh hysterically.

How to listen to your voicemail when you have anxiety.

1) ignore the fact that you have new unheard voicemails for at least two weeks. 2) Finally work up the courage to listen to them. 3) realize that your mailbox is full and you have 40 unheard messages. 4) Delete them all without listening to any of them. 5) No more voicemails!

I'm 6 nights into my 8 night shifts in a row.

Today I mixed it up by working the dayshift as well which makes for a 36 hour long stretch. I'm 23 hours in so far and still going strong! I can only do these ridiculously long shifts by laughing to myself about it, and just kind of ignoring the fact that that they are making me super anxious.
