By the way Swindle’s dumb ass doesn’t really know that mysterious “conjunx” is him. He’s somewhere in between “oh fuck it COULD be me” and “Blurr was in love with someone” because. It’s Blurr haha. He had a lot of mechs and fans hanging around all the time~

Minicon Swindle is very dear to me since he was the first mini Starscream had. So with the death loop au, imagine waking up and suddenly you’re treated less like a mech and more of a desired accessory, no one can understand you, you’re considered an outlier simply with the way you act.

You’re old evil boss is now somehow the nicest one and he’s the one to take care of you (and if we assume that Swindle only knew Blurr gets looped but not Starscream) then you found out that he is also in this fucked up death loop. And of course not only can’t you tell your ex-conjux (?) that you’re still you but also you get attached to said boss then he fucking DIES (double trauma i guess).

Tumblr is such a strange place to me not just bcus i hardly register it as a social media but bcus ive had like, some artists ive looked up to and multiple authors of ao3 fics i love follow me and if it were anywhere else I'd be go crazy and not be normal whatsoever (but pretend to be bcus i cant look cringe cool ppl are following me) but here I'm like oh em gee its them, go insane every time i see them, but i still be cringe bcus its what they're probably following me for tumblrs for being a little bit cringe we dont have shame and that's great actually

Okay so, Rain World:The Watcher Spoilers, creature based one, below the cut, but i need to see if anyone else has seen this

Did anyone else see like, two of these uh,,,, very long movable rot-filled lizards??

One got taken away by a Sniper (king vulture) and the other one was like dying when I got past the toll (couldn't pay too much danger not worth it the scavs will understand)

It was horrifying and terrible and it was the last thing of the base game looking area i saw before OAOAAOAO echo took me away to Coral Caves

In addition to Swerve and Starscream knowing what Blurr’s living (and dying through), I do wonder if Swindle wouldn’t know in his own way too?

Because I could easily see if they spent any lengthy amount of time together in idw universe that Swindle would start to make observations and realize that something is different for Blurr even if he didn’t know exactly what was going on in full detail.

(And would Blurr possibly give it away — in the moment of relief after Swingle saves his life? Would he slip? Let down his guard just a little in thinking it was over and the loop was finally broken?)

Ooohhhh imagine if at some point Blurr gets. Like. Drunk maybe? Or high on painkillers or something like that?

And he just starts talking and talking and TALKING about the whole death loop thing because he's hammered and because he needed to talk about it so fucking bad.

And Swindle at first thinks "oh he's just fucking with me okay" but then he starts noticing little details. The way Blurr mixes up names. The way he sometimes seems to know mechs he never met before. One day after some thoughtful watching Swindle just corners Blurr and like "Tell me that story about different worlds but without drugs and on normal speed!"

And yeah. I think Blurr would tell him.

I'm imagining Blurr being like "It's different but kind of the same. Dramatic. Sorta heroic. And consistently gory."

And then Blurr dies and it is exactly what he was describing.

And maybe he is fast enough to send one last message to Swindle before he gets completely destroyed. Something very quick and short like "I'm gonna miss you."
