Day 1: Flight to Paro
Take your flight from India that goes to Bhutan's Paro Valley (the only international airport in Bhutan). It may take around 3 hours to reach Paro, the valley town, from India by flight.

Day 3: Drive to Thimphu – The Modern Capital of Bhutan  
Hire a cab from a car rental agency in Paro Bhutan for your Thimphu transfer. Or, simply, you can get a car from your hotel/resort in Paro, which will drive you to Thimphu.
The road journey from Paro the valley town to Thimphu takes some 1.5 hours. On this journey, witness the soul-satisfying views of the Paro River, vivid green landscapes, and the Himalayan mountains.
Check into your hotel in Thimphu in a prime location. After you freshen up, and have your meals, leave for outdoor sightseeing in Thimphu. On the third day of your Bhutan holiday, you can explore places like the Folk Heritage Museum, the National Library of Bhutan, and the Buddha Dordenma Statue.
If you want to explore the Bhutan tour by road, you have to first approach Jaigaon, which is around 139 km from NJP and 151 km from Bagdogra. From Siliguri, it takes some 3 hours 30 min.
Next, you have to visit Phuentsholing from Jaigaon (both are located on the Indo-Bhutan border). For a relaxing journey, stay a night in Phuentsholing, and the next day, leave for Thimphu and after Thimphu sightseeing within two days, you can leave for Paro or Punakha. However, for by road exit, you have to return to Thimphu.
Day 4: Outdoor Sightseeing in Thimphu Bhutan
After having your breakfast, leave for National Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, Royal Textile Academy, Simply Bhutan, Simtokha Dzong, etc.
In the evening, don’t forget to tour the vibrant markets in Thimphu, where you can enjoy shopping.
Day 5 – Return to Paro Valley
After having an early breakfast in Thimphu, leave for Paro International Airport. Avail of car hire from your hotelier or travel agent.
