Day 1: Flight to Paro

The road journey from Paro the valley town to Thimphu takes some 1.5 hours. On this journey, witness the soul-satisfying views of the Paro River, vivid green landscapes, and the Himalayan mountains.

For a relaxing journey, stay a night in Phuentsholing, and the next day, leave for Thimphu and after Thimphu sightseeing within two days, you can leave for Paro or Punakha. However, for by road exit, you have to return to Thimphu.
