you'll get the urge as an artist or a writer to say out loud the things you're worried about "the proportions are off" "kind of out of character" "i'm not good at summaries" "didn't get as much detail as i wanted" "i made a mistake and here's how" and that's the self-conscious part of your brain telling you "it's bad and if you don't tell them you know it's bad then they'll think you're stupid" but you've got to ignore that little voice and pretend you think it's good or else that little voice is going to ruin your life

If Motorcity continued and Julie's secret would have got revealed I feel like the team would generally be understanding. (AND IM ANGRY WE WONT KNOW)

Like at least Dutch for sure. Like there were the notes that Dutch finds out first, and he's a kind of a 'in my own lane' guy, so I think he'd understand Julie. And most likely doesn't reveal anything because he'd trust Julie to reveal things on her own terms, but definitely still have that skepticism of what's taking her so long, knowing that prolonging things will just hurt more in the long run.

I think they would write Mike to be fine in the end with it. But at least he'd not be talking to ANYONE for a day or two, and then with the reassurance of his team (most likely Jacob) he can accept Julie and move on, making probably the team's bond stronger now.

But like what I'mm thinking because I love drama, is that this definitely effects Mike and his Issues. Like you just get over your first large betrayal (gone from home, whole ideaology shattered), and then KANE rears his face once again. Like I can see it affecting his trust towards his team in general, getting paranoid/clingy/obsessive if there's anything else that's hidden from him. I think the other guys could be understanding of Julie, but still stay on Mike's side. Or maybe there's a whole divide in the team for a while. AGHH

you, artist online. somebody has referenced you in conversation irl by your online handle and somebody else knew who you were talking about. somebody has kept up closely with your posts for a period of time like their morning paper. somebody found a music artist because of you, thinks of you when they hear them on the radio. somebody followed you years ago and remembers you randomly even though they can't find you. somebody has screenshotted and saved your posts and sent them in discord servers. somebody has made your drawings their lockscreen, added them to their favorites folder and looked at them when they're going through some shit, has sent them to their best friend and sparked conversation in private chats. your art in particular could be the source of a keen sense of nostalgia for someone. maybe they've even printed out your images using their home printer and taped them to their bedroom wall and they look at it every day and they never even told you. isn't that scary? isn't that awesome? remember this well.

submit to the mortifying ordeal of being known so that you may turn around and see the impact you leave and the light you cast on others.
