i'm glad the community as a whole is being more mindful about what fcs they use but blindly using that list is not the best choice. i know of at least one actress who has publicly been pro-palestine is on it and is now being being banned from groups for being a zionist. i'm not as familiar with all the celebs, but i have to assume she's not the only one. it's like we can only act in extremes - just straight up not giving a fuck or being hypercritical with no thought or research.

i feel like in a lot of ways, the word zionist is starting to lose it's meaning, and i don't mean that super literally, but more so in the online sphere. i don't think someone who liked a single post in 2020 should be on the same list as people actively funneling propaganda into the world every single day. if anything, i think this is having a negative impact on the combatting of actual zionism.

i write on rp.me. it's basically formatted like myspace (i'm old ok) and for the most part its okay unless you write with a group or on discord. people write anywhere from a sentence to novella and their accounts say so, so you can avoid anyone you don't want to write with. someone tried to say pedos were writing on there but your account would automatically be deleted if not flagged if you write shit like that. i think it has more safe guards than tumblr does at times tbh.

i joined the hp rps server to spy but so far, the server looks okay. they have an anti jkr disclaimer up and a donations channel with links to trans orgs to support.

It was a pretty small server to begin with so Drew Starkey literally made up half the server 😭 I kept imagining each of the OCS as just Drew Starkey in a disguise

Used to write on rpme before tumblr. This was well over 15 years ago. Basically MySpace remade - it’s where all MySpace writers moved right after the change. But with all the time between being there and now I don’t know if anything changed.
