Small update. Did some more work on the Loranis model, mainly focusing on the shoes. I followed a technique from a tutorial by Niko from Speedchar to help me build up the sole and the panels of the boot I wanted
It's looking a bit wonky at the front, but I plan on straightening it out before I make it more high poly
I've also been experimenting with giving the shirt some thickness.
I've been trying to find some examples from Fortnite of characters with button ups to reference from, but Fortnite's artstyle varies so I will mess around until I get something that looks good.

Starting on a new project!
Burnt out on my old big project, so I'm bringing in a personal character to try and relight the spark
I'm adapting one of my dnd characters for this project, her name is Loranis Harkenves
I've decided to go for a style in the ballpark of Fortnite and Overwatch while I try and develop my own style.
Here's my current progress
Trying to keep things relatively low poly at the moment while I figure things out. I'm hesitating to attach the head to the body until I'm satisfied with how the body proportions are.
Feedback welcome!

I sculpted a bust of Luz in ZBrush! I've never done a stylized sculpt like this before, it was a lot of fun!

Some more progress on Pilvi! I've started working on the floating stained glass shards, with the wings and the shoulder pads.
I traced over the wing shapes in 3DS Max, using an image plane with the picture on as a guide.
Here's what it looks like in Zbrush with some more geometry
The shoulder pads were made by masking off the shoulder and extracting out the shape. I then lowered the geometry so make it easier to manouver.
Then, I made it into the shape of the shoulder pad in the image.
Here's what they both look like on the character, with symmetry
For some reason I had been putting off making these because I thought they'd be a pain, but it turned out to be quite easy! Plus, the model's silhouette looks a lot more interesting now.

Here's a wip of a project I'm currently working on! I'm developing a design created by Ine T'Sjoen. I originally took on this project as part of the Dragon's Rise: The Forgotten Realms challenge on Artstation, but I decided to take it on as a personal project instead due to lack of time.
Original Design:
I was initially posting my progress on Twitter, but I've decided to start posting on here instead. You can view the previous development thread of my twitter

Here's a character I made as part of a collaberative project during university! As part of the project, we had to work together as a group to create a game. For the game, I created the shopkeeper character, who was an alien 'cleverly' disguised as a robot. I designed this character myself!
You can play the game here! Assembly Required
Please note that the game was created during 2 development pewriods which totalled to about 4 weeks, so it may be a bit unpolished in places.
