Hi there. Since you are one of the few people I found who is interested in IPKKND3, I was wondering if you know any websites or drives where I watch/download the episodes. Hotstar is not available in my country. I really appreciate your help. Thank you!
Hello :)
I don’t really know ... all the links I did have no longer work. Sorry!!
(You didn’t have to send this to all my blogs!!)

Okay, so is Advay really a Maths Professor? I watched IPKKND 3 four days ago and it went by as a blur. Finished 70 episodes in one day and I honestly don't know how I feel about all this. This is toxic addiction. 🥵🤦♀️❤ He had me at the beard. 🥵💕
Hello!
I have no idea what I watched either. I mean:
It’s such a confused mess hahah but holds a special place in my heart. I loved it in the beginning, Advay was such an arresting lead.
I see you’d asked @theladyofthewest this question as well :) He was indeed a maths professor. Meghna introduced him to us in Episode 8:
Advay. Advay Singh Raizada. London-return. Maths professor, musician, and rich.
He had cloud-seeding software on his laptop and he saw equations everywhere (I called it Advay-vision, I never got over them getting rid of that.)
There was also this gem in Episode 22:
Chandni: “Aap koi master-ji hai kya?” [Are you some kind of teacher?] Advay: “As a matter of fact, yeah. Main ek professor hoon.” [As a matter of fact, yeah. I’m a professor.]
So of course, Chandni calls him Rowdy Professor :)
I always thought he must have a very strong background in science as well, considering his tricks with electromagnets and what-not, but that’s mostly just me projecting my double degree onto him haha.

Hey! Not an ask, but just an appreciation for always answering billions of questions regarding the show. I dont think even the makers could have answered in the way you do :) I just realized that tumblr makes things disappear so I just wanted to let you know I am grateful for clarifying my confusions and always giving quick answers :) Thank you
Hello!
Eeeee thank you! This is amazing!! I reckon -- as with creating anything -- they’d have loads of views on what they intended and what they wanted to show, which is fascinating all by itself. One of the most illuminating things for me is when Barun Sobti compares Arnav and Advay (even though he dislikes it when others do it haha) --
What is the biggest difference you find between Arnav and Advay?
This is an unfair question because I had immense fun doing both the roles. The major reason why I had so much fun doing all the roles was that it has been appreciated so much. However, the difference between Advay and Arnav is that one Advay is absolutely lonely, he has nobody in his life so you feel bad for him. He is vocal about it and is vengeful. Advay’s losses are so deep that he can go to any extent to make the people who are behind it to make them suffer.
(source) This interview was given before they rewrote the show! It also contains his statement about how IPK3 was originally meant to be something else -- which seems to be what Gorky released a still and video of.
How different is Advay from Arnav?
Arnav had found a way to hide his misery behind his work. Arnav never really dealt with his problem, he never liked to talk about his parents. Basically, that was what ate him up and that was what the whole character was about. Advay, on the other hand, refuses to stop thinking about it and his whole agenda lies around his past life. He is not like he will not talk about it. He will talk about it and he will react and behave based on what has happened in his past life. His agenda is very clear.

I generally don’t bring the intent of the creative team into my analysis -- I have a pretty hard and fast rule about what I consider canon and what I don’t -- but I find what they have to say interesting.
For example -- Aakash’s character arc. I know I’ve answered tonnes of questions on it but one thing I rarely bring up is Akshay Dogra’s feelings on the issue. I mentioned an interview in this post, it’s since been taken down and I can’t find it anywhere!
He also says that he was a “good guy” - no character depth - and had a weak script … “even Lakshmi had something to do!”. He says that the script never called for reactions and that any reactions, any semblance of character you see in the show, is his input, not the script. He even talks about the changes in Aakash during the kidnapping track and how a lot of the roles he’d envisioned for Aakash went to NK.
One of the things he said in this interview (I’m sorry I can’t provide a link but you should read that post) is that he had no idea what was going on on the kidnapping track and tried to play Aakash as if he knew that Bhai had been kidnapped. And knowing that, when one goes back and watches those episodes, Aakash’s behaviour makes a more sense. Basically, he thought the writers had done such a poor job of explaining Aakash’s behaviour that he came up with an explanation and tried to play it that way. And it didn’t pan out for a number of reasons, including the fact that they bought NK back to play the role he thought he’d be doing.
None of that is canon and it cannot be brought into analysis about his character. But it explains so much!!
I think I’ve gotten side-tracked hahahaha, thank you so much for the compliment, and for giving me a space to just ramble about things I don’t get to talk about much! Sending you loads of love!

Hello I read your analysis about Arnav and Advay but I think that was when the Canon wasn't completed. So I just want to ask you what is your perspective on Advay and Arnav now? Which role do you think utilized Barun's acting skills better? And what is your opinion about the characters Chandni and Khushi? Also the way Sanaya and Shivani performed the roles that is the way they handled anger, sadness, romance, comedy etc. I really want to know your opinion so please reply. Thanks in advance
Hi!
what is your perspective on Advay and Arnav now?
I don’t think my stance on either has changed … the canon might be complete but it was completely butchered from what it was originally intended to be, so the point is moot.
Which role do you think utilized Barun’s acting skills better?
Advay, as he was meant to be, certainly pushed Sobti but I still think the role in Mohra was the perfect showcase of growth in his craft. The role of Arnav was perfect for Sobti at the time but the industry needs to let him explore other things. And so do his fans, to be honest.
And what is your opinion about the characters Chandni and Khushi?
Chandni wasn’t given the opportunity to live up to what was promised in the initial episodes. In the end, I enjoy Khushi more on my screen but Chandni had some stellar moments.
Also the way Sanaya and Shivani performed the roles that is the way they handled anger, sadness, romance, comedy etc
It’s unfair to compare Irani’s role as Khushi and Tomar’s Chandni … IPK3 wasn’t given a fair chance. Who knows how much stronger and more consistent Tomar’s Chandni would’ve been if circumstances were different!
Ultimately, I blame StarPlus. There were no winners, and this endeavour was doomed almost from the moment Star took over Mohra. They should’ve just left it alone instead of trying to shoehorn the concept into one of their most popular properties on the ill-researched and frankly stupid notion that Sobti was enough to create and carry a successful serial.
He’s good. But not that good.

Hi :) I still don't get it why people didn't like ipkknd3, I originally fell in love with ipkknd1 but I watched ipkknd3 and I enjoy it very much I actually didn't find anything big problems. Except the fact the story line was a bit loopy but barun and shivani did great (and shivant is equal as beautiful as sanaya. People can't just ruin a show just cause they don't see ’chemistry’ between actors, obviously bar in and sanaya sent always going to make movies and shows together a billions times
Hello!
There isn’t a question here so I’m going to just say that I’m glad you liked it!!

Hi :) is Ipkkn3 a love drama or something else I mean I read it online and I’m still confused. Do you recommend it? Could you give me your opinion on it? Thank u ❤️❤️
Hello!
Well, I don’t think it began as a romantic drama but it can certainly be interpreted as one. I think it’s a bit confused on that front.
I don’t know about recommending it, I guess that depends on whether you like abusive male leads. It has good moments but it has plenty of bad ones too haha.
My opinion can be found all over this blog :)
