i think everyone who started listening to audio drama podcasts through the magnus archives should be made to immediately follow it up with stellar firma. there’s this weird superiority complex people seem to develop about liking and enjoying tma. they compare everything to it and can be really mean about the quality of other podcasts. or at least hesitant to enjoy something else, especially if it relies on different structures of storytelling. chucking stellar firma into the mix is like dunking you straight into the other end of the pool and telling you that you WILL like this. it’s different in nearly every way shape and form while still having some of your fave actors. it’ll loosen you up to the vast array of podcasts you’re about to venture out towards. also its just good and deserves more attention.

wolf 359 is a show that poses many important questions such as “how much training do you REALLY need to go to space,” “is it still a war crime if you’re light-years away from the nearest living soul,” “how many times can you send one guy into the limitless void before he gets pissed enough to kill you about it,” “what if the ship of Theseus was a person,” “how many different ways can you kill someone without them dying,” and of course, “would that be fucked up or what”

hey gang. hat in my hands here. I am once again asking for podcast recs. it's been. several years. but i reeeeaaaaaallly need a good dose of space-fairing sci-fi. I've obviously listened to wolf 359, but other than that I've really skipped over the podcast scene on this one. I've listened to Midnight Burger and Marsfall too. idk. please someone help me
edit: i somehow forgot i've listened to the entirety of stella firma (LOVED THAT ONE) and Erraticus (Also loved)
