Firm believer part of the reason Jason freaks out and interjects so much in dirty dudes must die is because Grace is actually singing in real life at that point (not just haha musical singing)
and it’s having the same implied uncanny effect in tgwdlm
because she’s that’s how she’s channeling Pokotho’s power also through the black book

Max Jägerman’s dad will never not scare me cause imagine you hear on the news that your son got gruesomely dismembered in an old house and stuffed under the floorboards, and just not say anything about it. The scariest thing about NPMD is not the fact that the kids were happy without Max, but because the adults in town cared more about a football game than an eighteen year old kid getting gruesomely killed. It makes sense from the Hatchetfield students perspective that they wouldn’t care, they knew who Max was and constantly got tortured by him.
But it’s the fact that the adults didn’t. To them, Max is just a kid who’s good at football, one would think his death would have a large impact on the town but it doesn’t, and that’s why Max’s agony as a ghost who’s left the world without anyone caring for him hits harder. Same for Richie, both his and Max’s deaths from the towns perspective should have been heartbreaking but instead it was just glossed over. And the show plays it off as jokes, but we all know it’s terrifying.

hi, today i realized Made In America abbreviates to MIA
like CaliforM.I.A.
and how wilbur mentions “a valley of silicon”, where California is known as Silicon Valley
Made in America also talks about never being satisfied, wanting everything, and wanting to be rich and powerful, and never being happy with what you have, and CaliforMIA is Lex and Ethan talking about how they want to be rich
also i apologize for the format, im a multi-texter lol

I feel like we need to give more love to Nibbly. My man only shows up briefly in one episode of Nightmare Time and during The Summoning NPMD, and he absolutely slays both times. I feel like there's all sorts of headcanons out there for the other four Lords in Black, but there's almost nothing for Nibbly.
JUSTICE FOR NIBBLENEPHIM!!!

I think about how sometimes at the end of TGWDLM, during Inevitable, Paul and the others are singing to Emma after the Paul exploded the meteor, meaning that canonically they'd actually be burned, charred corpses singing and dancing around probably. Like, there's NO way they actually just looked fine after that.
