Justice Dunn
What Makes a Good Read Is it character, is it dialogue, or a compelling character with a strong since of purpose, or a strong story. Perhaps it is the connection with the reader. A great book inspires, thrills or devastates. Should it connect with the reader emotionally? Story telling should transport readers to a new world or experience. In other words, invite them to think more deeply about their own reality. "JUSTICE DUNN," is such the story. It weaves a gripping narrative centered around the life of Sergeant Major Justice Dunn, a US Army Special Forces Veteran. His story, marked by patriotism, personal tragedy, and a quest for justice, unfolds against the backdrop of a post-war return to Pittsburgh. The intricate plot intertwines with the tenacity of a young photojournalist, Amber Paul, who navigates the city's darkness in pursuit of truth and justice. The novel's multifaceted narrative, rife with elements of heroism, resilience, and societal challenges, presents an opportunity to create a captivating book. https://a.co/d/buSZh8K

5.0 out of 5 stars A gripping , insightful, and compelling book!Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2023
Spoiler free: Absolutely astonishing that someone who appears to be a first time author wrote something this layered, this exciting, and this fun! I hope this is the start of a series and I look forward to the second installation! I couldn’t put this book down. I immediately felt connected to the characters and plot. The setting, in Pittsburgh PA, feels more like it’s own character than just where the story happens to take place. Most authors pick a city and shoehorn the action but here the choice feels organic. This book has an an interesting plot with well fleshed out characters. Usually male authors have a hard time with female leads but this is not the case here. The women in the book are every bit as developed as the men and maintain their agency throughout. I don’t write a lot of reviews but this book demanded one. I can’t wait to see what gets written next!
