9/25/23 (Day Two)

Jinri sat quietly in her seat doodling on her notebook while waiting for the lesson to begin. Her best friend sitting beside her, engrossed in something that played on her phone.

Just then the door to the classroom opened and in walked Dean Jang along with a tall and really gorgeous guy, which for some odd reason she feels has seen before, but can’t quite remember where.

Dean Jang then cleared her throat before speaking, "Everyone, please listen up"

Jinri put her pen down and looked up to see what Dean Jang had to say. "Alright now that I have all of your attention, I want to introduce you all to Park Jisung, he will be attending Decelis Academy from now onward, please make sure you all make him feel welcome.”

Jinri watched as Dean Jang talked to Jisung quietly before signaling him towards where she and Wonyoung are. She also watched as he nervously looked around while walking, and then their eyes met. And Jinri knew who he was.

She quickly turned away and looked at Wonyoung who was still looking down at her phone typing a text to who seemed to be Sunghoon. “Wonyoung!” She softly called for her friends name.

Wonyoung looked up in confusion and looked at her friend in the eye. “Yeah?” Wonyoung replied quietly.

Jinri signaled with her eyes for her to look forward at the guy that was sitting down in front of them. Wonyoung tilted her head to the side, and then looked back at Jinri.

“Isn’t he… you know, park boy?” Wonyoung asked as quietly as she could.

Jinri nodded, glancing back at the boy sitting in front of them. And that’s when she noticed his hair, it was a beautiful navy blue color. And it suited him really well.

And then they heard Heeseung, talking to Jisung. And at the sound of Jisung’s voice, Jinri’s mouth dropped. His voice was just a pretty as him, a deep, but soothing and soft voice. A voice so pretty, so pretty that it sounded melodic.

“His voice is so… so, so pretty, how can one be so perfect,” Jinri whispered to Wonyoung in disbelief.

Wonyoung giggled softly at her friends antics. And then leaned forward to tap on Heeseung’s shoulder. “Introduce us your new friend,” Wonyoung smirked as she nudged Jinri’s shoulder.

Heeseung raised an eyebrow in confusion as to why Wonyoung was requesting that. But regardless, Heeseung still told Jisung to meet his two friends.

When Jisung turned around, Jinri’s eyes went wide for a split second and then looked away in nervousness.

Jisung watched as her eyes went wide for a second and then as she looked away as if trying to avoid him. And at the action, his face fell a little, but regardless he smiled at the other girl.

“Jisung, this is Wonyoung and Jinri,” Heeseung introduced both girls and signaled to who’s who.

Wonyoung being the only one engaging in conversation said, “Sorry about Jinri, she’s a little shy”

Wonyoung then tapped Jinri’s shoulder and she looked up from the book she was doodling on. “Don’t be rude, say hi,” Wonyoung said and pointed at Jisung.

But before she could say ‘hi’ they were interrupted by the teacher, “Quiet down back there, we’re starting the lesson, Heeseung could you please show Jisung where we are in the text book?”

And both boys turned around to begin the lesson. They began the lesson and not even ten minutes in, Heeseung’s phone was going off nonstop.

And Jisung being the curios person he was he peaked when Heeseung looked down at his phone. And in the texts he saw a picture of Jinri, along with a heart. And his heart sank.

And then Heeseung turned around to look behind Jisung, where Jinri was sitting. And he was also able to see him smirk at her, and that made his stomach churn and twist.

He really has no chance. And it seems like she doesn’t like him.

Authors note - Second part is finally out!! I apologize for not updating in a while. But I had no idea on what to do for the story. But anyway I finally managed to put something together in the span of 30 minutes. Also part of the reason is also because I’m a child, I’m 16, and I have school and homework. Also just a little disclaimer before I continue writing, this story will have a lot of written parts, since I’ve had the idea of the plot in my head for a LOOOONG time now. The smau just came to mind at the very last minute. 😁

letters and white roses - 1. Admiring from afar

09/22/23 (Day One)

Lee Jinri loved Friday afternoons, the reason being that she would get out of school and go to her favorite park to just relax and enjoy the beauty of nature along with her two favorite girls.

And as they made their way through the park Jinri had a soft smile on her face as the cool autumn breeze hit her cheeks and blew her hair back. Just as they reached the group of bushes that hid the beautiful spot, she looked around to make sure no one saw them.

"No one is looking" she said softly.

Yunjin took that as a sign to push away a few branches and make way for them to go through. Wonyoung crouched down and went in first, followed by Jinri and then Yunjin going in last.

"Shit, I got my hair stuck" Yunjin groaned as she tried to untangle her hair from the branch.

"Do you need help?" Jinri offered.

"Nope, I got it out" Yunjin said and got out of the bushes. The other girls giggled at their friend's little struggle and continued walking.

The spot had been found by them a few years back, and ever since they found it, it has been their favorite hang out spot.

Not to mention the beauty of the spot, with a small pond on the center and two tall trees on each side. What made it more beautiful though, was the quietness of it.

As the girls sat down to enjoy their time they didn't notice someone else walking into their spot. That is until Jinri looked up from her phone.

"Someone else is here" she said and turned to the other girls. Wonyoung turned to look at Jinri and raised an eyebrow. "Over there" Jinri motioned with her hand for Wonyoung to see. Wonyoung nodded and went back to talking with Yunjin.

"He's pretty" Jinri commented as she watched him sit down under the tree on the other side of the pond. Wonyoung chuckled at the comment and turned to Jinri.

"Go talk to him" Wonyoung said between giggles. Jinri looked at her and raised an eyebrow, "Do you want me to humiliate myself?"

"Don't listen to her" Yunjin said and leaned forward to look at Jinri.

Some time has now passed, and the three girls are still talking and having fun. And while they talked Jinri kept glancing back at the guy. She was in awe of how pretty he was, never had she seen someone as breath taking as him. She kept getting distracted and wasn't even paying attention to her friends now.

Wonyoung soon noticing that her friend wasn't listening she took it as opportunity to do something. She began plucking some of the little flowers scattered around the ground and placing them on her lap. And while she was doing so, a butterfly briefly landed on her hand before quickly flying away.

She let out a confused sound and turned to Yunjin with wide eyes. Yunjin smiled at her and went back to talking.

Wonyoung then turned to Jinri and raised an eyebrow. "She's completely out of it" Wonyoung said quietly.

"She's mesmerized" Yunjin added. Wonyoung gathered all of the little flowers that she placed on her uniform skirt and held them in both hands.

She raised her hands over Jinri's head, and then Jinri finally snapped out her thoughts when Wonyoung let go of the flowers and they fell on Jinri like confetti. "Welcome back!" Wonyoung giggled.

The girls laughed at the behavior of the younger girl. And the loud action caught the attention of the mysterious guy.

Jisung looked up from his phone upon hearing the loud laughter of the girls. He had seen them when he walked into his favorite secluded area of the park. He liked it for its quietness and for the beautiful view that displayed once it turned dark.

But he had never seen anyone else around, he had always gone there alone and he was sure no one else knew about it.

But he is honestly really captivated by one of the girls.

She seems so effortlessly pretty, her short haired moving easily with whatever movement she does. And her laughter was really infectious, he felt himself smiling as he watched as the trio laughed about something.

His admiration was short lasted though, because soon enough the girls were grabbing their school bags and getting ready to leave. He watched as the short haired girl, who was much smaller than the other two in height, turn around to look across the pond and their eyes briefly met. He felt his cheeks flush at the fact that he had been caught staring at her, and turned his gaze away.

He mentally kicked himself for allowing himself to stare at a girl for this long. It had never happened to him, he always looked away after mere seconds of looking their way. But why was she so captivating?

park jisung (02) ; first year sociology student. Would be in the same year as Chenle, but unfortunately is also part of the “wait listed” gang. A bunch of girls get the hots for him the second they see him. But he’s too quiet and shy to notice anyone. But while ignoring girls, he somehow ended up infatuated with a certain short haired girl.

mark lee (99) ; fourth year literature student, he is well known amongst the student body for being a really hard worker, and helping those around him. He tutored almost all of the boys and became friends with them during his tutoring sessions.

huang renjun (00) ; third year graphic design student. He’s well liked around campus, everyone knows him and adores him. Very artistic and is usually always in the art gallery working on a new art project. Short temper and is always scolding someone for something, even for something really petty.

lee jeno (00) ; third year criminal justice student, and the only guy that Jinri is close to out of the whole friend group. He is also the first to suspect that Jinri and Jisung have something for each other. Very patient and kind, everyone loves him.

lee donghyuck (00) ; fourth year philosophy student and also very cocky. If confidence was a person, Haechan would be it. Has scammed some poor college students by cat fishing as a sugar daddy. Gaslights people, but somehow very well liked, he’s just a really nice person when he isn’t scamming or gaslighting someone.

na jaemin (00) ; fourth year biomedical student, he’s an absolute sweetheart. He loves helping people, and always looks out for his friends. Very playful and also teases his friends a lot. Always calls his friends sexy, and you would think he’s into guys by the way he flirts with them.

zhong chenle (01) ; third year accounting student, he’s crazy rich. Haechan once asked him to be his sugar daddy? He obviously said no, but that moment became a funny moment in their friendship. He’s really sweet, but also brutally honest. Will shut down anyone’s delusions, and will always judge you if you do something stupid.

Lee Jinri (03) ; Main character and a second year literature student in Decelis Academy. Known for her natural charm and always being helpful, Lee Jinri has the most promising future in her year. But at what cost?

Jang Wonyoung (04) ; First year criminology student and Jinri’s childhood friend, they grew up in the same town and both got into Decelis at the same time. Also the most sane person in their friend group.

Huh Yunjin (01) ; Third year literature student and the first friend that Jinri made at Decelis. The three girls met and have been attached by the hip ever since. Known for supporting the girls in whatever they do, kinda like an older sister to them.

Lee Heeseung (01) ; Second year sociology student and part of the basketball team. He would be in his third year but the poor boy was wait listed and didn’t get into Decelis until the year before. He became friends with Jinri, and the four of them quickly became friends.

Park Sunghoon (02) ; Second year kinesiology student and Heeseung’s friend. Though he met the girls through him and befriended them all. Very confident, and has loves himself more than anyone else, but also very introverted. But once you get to know him he is kinda loud. Will shut down Jinri’s delusions and will always give her a reality check.

authors note - In this story the main character will be portrayed by Kim Chaewon, but I do NOT ship any of the idols mentioned. I only used Chaewon as a representation of the main girl, because I am not good in writing 2nd pov stories, I mainly shine in 3rd pov. And for that I realized that I needed a set character and persona. And most of the layout for this was inspired by @/lqfiles

In where she saw him while she was out with her friends at the park. From afar he looked so beautiful and carefree. She was mesmerized by the way his hair would blow with the cool autumn breeze. He on the other hand, had noticed her and her friends sitting under a tree. He smiled at the sight of the three girls enjoying their afternoon, and although the three of them caught his attention. His focus was more on the short haired girl in the center.

They both left the park without talking to one another not knowing that, that afternoon was the beginning of their love story.

And by so long I mean since beginning of 2023💀 I also posted something similar to this before deleting it, so if it looks similar to something you’ve seen, that’s why.
