This modern day Parthenon houses more than contemporary artworks between its Corinthian columns. @wesley.winter ’s SoHo loft incorporates New York’s urban flair through the various statement pieces and furniture by emerging artists and designers.
Although retaining classic architectural elements such as a high coffered ceiling, white walls and oversized windows; each room is imbued with a modern dramatic effect.
This is observed in the contrast between light and darkness which depends on balancing the exclusiveness and mystery of the black metal tables, stools and kitchen island with the softness of furniture such as the velvet daybed and couch.
