Expectations for S11 were incredibly high all round and whilst it may not have been a perfect season a number of standout episodes and performances makes the wait for 2020 and S12 feel like a lifetime. The entire Team TARDIS were great but Graham became my surprise favourite with his poignant heartbreak. So much has been said about the show being too PC and too feminist but frankly I don’t have time for those complaints. This season gave me heroism, heartbreak, laughter and adventure - all we need from Doctor Who.

Because there’s no way you invented this thing single handed. I mean, it might be Earth technology, but that’s like finding a mobile phone in the Middle Ages. No, no, I’ll tell you what it’s like. It’s like finding this in the middle of someone’s front room. Albeit it’s a very big front room.
