‏جاء رجل إلى الحسن البصري -رحمه الله-: فقال: يا أبا سعيد أشكو إليك قسوة قلبي. قال: أدِّبه بالذكر

"Soften it with dhikr. The more forgetful the heart is, the harder it becomes. But if a person remembers Allah, the hardness softens as copper melts in the fire.”
