kh is like. well it's completely insane and they do something wildly different every single time it's the opposite of formulaic. and yet every single time whatever flavor of the week they come up with is always so good???? yes it's hard to keep track of everything if you aren't hyper dedicated but every given individual game's story or concept is compelling beyond compelling. possession and bodyhopping and memory meddling and connection through dreams and visions of the past and time travel and amnesia and metaphysics and prophecy and fate and people splitting into multiple other people and people learning to forge their own identities even when they were never meant to exist and defining their relationships to their counterparts however they want and different meanings of the concept of death and how most of those can be overcome through some means because no one is ever truly gone. i have no idea what nomura eats or drinks or smokes but i want some of it. man is in the kitchen throwing the most insane ingredients into a giant pot on high heat but it always comes out good
