How to Install Android 8.1 Oreo for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge! [Resurrection Remix ROM]
Samsung's latest smartphones have just been released which are named as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and it's bigger brother which is named as the Galaxy S9 Plus. However, the Galaxy S series from Samsung is the flagship smartphone series from past many years and the company released the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus last year in this flagship series. However, the Samsung Galaxy S series saw a design change with the launch of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge which were a major refinement from the already redesigned Galaxy S smartphones with the launch of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
Talking about the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge from Samsung, it should be noted that both the devices were released with the latest specifications as well as the Galaxy S7 Edge had a curved display which is seen on the Samsung smartphones till date. However, we have also known that the Samsung smartphones lack the latest updates to Android as the company delays the release of latest version of Android for their device due to several factors such as quality control, bug fixes and optimization with TouchWiz.
Thus, some of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users would be wanting to upgrade to the latest version of Android as soon as possible to get the taste of the latest features from the newest version of Android which are not available even after Samsung's official update release. Therefore, you will be excited to know that unofficial builds of the Resurrection Remix ROM based on Android 8.1 Oreo for your Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are now available and you can install this ROM on your device by following the steps mentioned in the guide below to get the latest version of Android on your Samsung smartphone.
