What if I told you that “divine feminine energy” is in fact, not the opposite of hetero patriarchy, but is in fact an aspect of it?

"At first I did not question anything Gerald [Gardner] told me about what he claimed to be the traditional teachings of the Old Religion. Eventually however, I did begin to question, and began to ask how much was traditional and how much was simply Gerald's prejudices. For instance, he was very much against people of the same sex working together, especially if they were gay. In fact he went so far as to describe gay people as being "cursed by the Goddess." Well I see no good reason to believe this. In every period of history, in every country in the world there have been gay people, both men and women. So why shouldn't Mother Nature have known what she was doing when she made people this way? I don't agree with this prejudice against gay people, either inside the craft of the wise or outside it....
Another teaching of Gerald's which I have come to question is the belief known popularly as 'the Law of Three'. This tells us that whatever you send out in Witchcraft you get back threefold, for good or ill. Well, I don't believe it! Why should we believe that there is a special Law of Karma that applies only to witches? For Goddess' sake do we really kid ourselves that we are that important?
Yet I am told many people, especially in the USA, take this as an article of faith. I have never seen it in any of the old books of magic, and I think Gerald invented it."
-Doreen Valiente, in her last address to the National Conference of the Pagan Federation, 1997, quoted in Missing Witches: Recovering True Histories of Feminist Magic by Risa Dickens and Amy Torok (p.24-5)

When people say, “nature is my religion” are they talking about flies that feed on shit, maggots in decomposing corpses, lionesses with stained teeth and mouths full of blood? Are they talking about floods and fires and things from which we should always run? Are they talking about carcasses, rot, death?
Or do they just mean “this particular copse of benign trees is my religion”

i hope americans know about the unjust, unfair system that allowed them to get vaccines so early. while young and healthy ppl in the us decide which day of the week is more convinient to get a shot, the majority of the world can’t even secure vaccines for their elders.
it’s not “effort” it’s no “innovation”. its just modern imperialism.

corporations trying to profit off of queer people by showing their support for only one month of the year is bad
and
it’s fun to watch conservatives get pissed that they can’t shop at target anymore because the big bad rainbows will corrupt their children :(
and
the existence of rainbow capitalism in the first place proves that society is now in a place where supporting queer people is the more profitable and thus more popular opinion and that means something
are all viewpoints that can absolutely coexist

In my arm's reach are: a bottle with cat whiskers and shed claw parts, a handful of pigeon feathers, a white candle, two removed wisdom teeth (mine), acrylic paints, wood trim, an assortment of pencils, glue, scissors, a few USB sticks, packaging tape, zip ties, a rotten acorn from a failed gardening experiment and crumbs from a homemade chocolate cake.
I'd say my options are endless.
Quick, you have to cast a spell using only the things within arms reach RIGHT NOW. What do you grab and what can you do with it?

I believe you do have to learn your own internal 'language' - the symbolism that you've built up over time - because it's your filter for the wider world (including spirits you communicate with) and it creates a kind of signature that can't be replicated. Being fluent in that language creates something potent in magic that's hard to articulate
