to me balancing a composition is a lot about flow and/or what you'd like the viewer to focus on ^^ of course, the consideration of color and lighting do eventually play a part as well, but usually when i start out a piece with just a plain sketch i think about flow first. i did these notes really quickly but hopefully it helps a bit!🥰
