Effectiveness of Using Websites for Mental Health Issues
Introduction
Six million Filipinos suffer from sadness and anxiety, making mental disease the third most common kind of disability. Because of this, the country has the third highest rate of mental problems in the Western Pacific region (Martinez et al., 2020). Approximately one in ten persons experience anxiety or sadness at some point in their lives. What are the effects of mental health issues on people? Mood disorders such as anxiety and depression can have a long-term effect on a person's capacity to function in society. Depression and anxiety have a negative impact on people's capacity to engage in healthy behaviors. As a result, a person's ability to participate in therapy and recovery can be negatively affected by physical health issues, such as chronic diseases.
Purpose
It is important for people with mental health issues to learn about and recognize their symptoms so that they can begin to take the first steps toward recovery. Online techniques vary, but they often offer a planned course of psychological therapy that allows participants to monitor their progress and seek more help if the situation is worsen.
Description
Disorders that influence your emotions, thinking, and behavior are known as mental health issues, or mental illnesses. Depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and addictive behaviors are all examples of mental illness. Our emotional, psychological, and social well-being are all part of mental health. You can't help but be affected by it. It also influences how we cope with stress, connect with others, and make decisions. From childhood and youth through maturity, mental health is critical.

Most people nowadays get stressed a lot because of what's happening around them, and sometimes they get depressed. We want to prevent that by doing something that will make others interact with someone to help them with their mental health. We know that depression hotlines already exist, but most of the time they don't work. We want someone who has already experienced that to interact with them. This website will have 2 types of people. The first is the one who wants to help. The second is the person who wants to get help. The second person will get a random person to help them. They can choose to befriend them. This is like some of the apps that we already have, like Discord.
