Stubsi 🌈

Sadly, the wonderful manul Stubsi from Hellabrunn Zoo in Germany has passed away on January 17th of 2025 at the age of 8.

Our deepest condolences to all the zoo staff, Stubsi’s keepers who loved and cared for her, all manul lovers around the world, and her sister Pluschi, with whom she spent her entire life together 🙏

Local manulovers told us that the sisters loved to exchange gazes. So if one of them wasn’t visible, you just had to look where the other was gazing – that’s where the latter sister would be 👀

A true Marlene Dietrich of the manul world, we will all miss you dearly! 💔

May you roam the soft, boundless, and abundant heavenly steppe, fluffy girl!

Fluffy Valentines: Mating Season Has Begun for Pallas's Cats at Novosibirsk Zoo! ❤️

George and Adele are having an extremely intense romance! Flirtatious gazes quickly escalated to an 18+ scene, leaving the feline Casanova with a tuft of fur in his mouth 🤭🍓

Watch the video of their very first date in this season! Traditionally, the Pallas’s cat mating season at Novosibirsk Zoo starts in February.

Currently, there are three pairs: George and Adele, Zelenogorsk is now dating Mia, and Achi is with Snezhinka.

Meet Borys the Pallas’s cat! 😺

He is the father of a charming family of manuls at the Poznań Zoo and currently the oldest male manul in the EU! 🔥

Borys is 13 years old. He was born to the family of Beebop and Alula at Highland Wildlife Park in Scotland. This green-eyed handsome is the older brother of the gorgeous Pema, whom you already know, and the lovely Rosa, mother of Namika. 🥰

Now, Borys Beebopovich is enjoying a well-earned retirement, having a peaceful and quiet life in his spacious enclosure in the zoo’s off-exhibit area.

You may have noticed Borys’s unusual eyes—he was born with anisocoria, however, it has little to no impact on his quality of life. 🙌🏻

Huge thank you to the Poznań Zoo for giving us the opportunity to meet Borys and for their dedicated care for him and his fluffy family! 🫶

Magellan the manul 🤩

Behold another marvelous round-faced son of Mania and Borys, and a true superstar of the Poznań Zoo – the handsome Magellan!

As a six-month-old minul, our fearless hero secretly left his enclosure and went on the expedition of a lifetime, which lasted a whole five days! The entire city was involved in searching for him during his journey. Luckily, the search ended successfully: one of the locals spotted Magellan while he was attempting to hunt pigeons 🤤 That’s how our fluffy chevalier of fortune and lover of adventure earned his name—in honor of the great explorer Ferdinand Magellan!👌🏻 This story even inspired the creation of a children’s book The Great Expedition of Magellan the Pallas's cat 🔥

Magnificent, fluffy, and famous—that’s Magellan Borysovich! 👌🏻 Grandma’s pride and joy! ❤️😁

Pluton the Pallas's Cat 😻

Behold a rare fluffy guest—the charming Pluton, son of Mania and Borys, from the Poznań Zoo!

Pluton is absolutely gorgeous: friendly-shaped, big-eyed kawaii, and plushy charming—like a sweet kitty straight out of a painting! 🥹

But don’t be fooled: his keepers say Pluton is spirited, temperamental, and a fierce wild fellow. He is the dread of mice and quails! In short, he is a true manul! 🔥

Pluton resides in a section of the zoo that is closed to visitors.

We are grateful to the Poznań Zoo for the unique opportunity to see and photograph this fluffy marvel to share with you! ❤️

Meet Bozhenka the manul from Poznań Zoo! 😻

The wonderful fluffy lady Bozhenka is 4 years old. She was born in Poznań Zoo to the family of Mania and Borys. 💕

Bozhenka is one of the most amazing and unique manuls we’ve ever encountered! Everyone knows how dangerous toxoplasmosis is for manuls, but they are vulnerable to other diseases too. In her early childhood, Bozhenka lost one of her eyes due to feline herpesvirus. However, this hasn’t stopped her from living a full manul life—excelling at camouflage, staying hidden, and skillfully ambushing her meals 👍🏼

Bozhenka loves sitting by the entrance to her house, curiously observing her surroundings, which is why we affectionately call her "Lady Porch." 😁

And one more thing – Bozhenka Borisovna loves comfort and is a master at resting her paws on her tail! 👌🏻

Jokes aside, this is a very serious matter: meet Mania the Pallas's cat! 😺

The beautiful Mania Timofeyevna is the eldest daughter of Lastochka and her first husband, Timofey. She was born in 2016 at the Novosibirsk Zoo.

At the age of one, our fluffy lady moved to Poland, where she settled in the Poznań Zoo, her current sweet home 🏡

Here, she met Boris the manul and became the proud mother of adorable fluffs, and one of them is the famous traveler Magellan 🥰

Mania resides in a spacious estate, where she happily lives with her daughter, Bozhenka.

Mania enjoys spending time alone in her inner house as well as climbing her private mountain to sit at the very top, like a majestic fluffy snail, observing the world in true manul style.

A true masterpiece of grandeur! 🔥

Meet the beautiful Pema 😻

Pema is 10 years old, born on March 30, 2014, to the family of Alula and Beebop at the Highland Wildlife Park in Scotland. At the age of one, the fluffy lady moved to Chemnitz, Germany, where she met the green-eyed handsome Norbu, from the Moscow Breeding Centre. Together, they three times gifted the world wonderful minuls!

Precious Pema is the mother of the magnificent Mimi, Fellini, and Bohus, and the grandmother of Princess, as well as the aunt of the beautiful Namika. 🤗

Now, after Norbu passed away, this quiet and shy fluffy queen loves spending time in her cozy little house, only briefly stepping out for a mouse or peeking out with her golden, theatrically wide-open eyes—anyone lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her in that moment will leave with a love-struck smile on their face 😻

Loesje 🌈

Friends, sad news came from Nordens Ark: a few days ago, the beautiful Loesje passed away 💔

She was seven years old.

Our condolences to the zoo staff and to all manulovers in the world. This year, many people got to know and love Loesje and her fluffy family.

Dear Loesje, thank you for the countless wonderful, positive emotions you gave us all and for your wonderful and fluffy Nordic daughters! We will miss you so, so much! Thomas with minuls will meet you on their drakkar! 🙏❤️‍🔥
