Esme loves playing w Carlisle's hair and honestly Carlisle loves it even more. Esme could run her hands over his scalp and he'll basically shut down and almost start purring. whenever he's stressed she runs her hand up the back of his skull and into his scalp and it relaxes him almost instantly

The scene where the Volturi appear in the clearing always gives me goosebumps because of how structured, meticulous and well-thought through is every single movement they make. 

While the Cullens & co stand in separate small groups:

The Volturi walk in a straight line, so that it is immediately obvious how numerous their army is, and appearing as a strong united front (rather than a random collection of people like the Cullens and others appear):

They only start to separate when they come closer, and even then the way they re-arrange themselves follows a strict hierarchy, the trio of rulers at the front, their most powerful guards right behind them (the strongest, and arguably less valuable, on the sides - Felix and Demetri - while the tiny Jane and Alec are in the middle). The rest of the army continues walking in a straight line, with the exception of Aro and Caius’s wives, who are surrounded by guards themselves for protection:

The way they present themselves is calculated to appear grand, unstoppable and to inspire fear. Basically an intimidation technique. 

There’s also no reason for them to walk so slow - at the end they leave very quickly:

But when they appear, it’s slow, so that there is time for that fear and intimidation to develop. It’s also very similar to how murderers move in horror movies. The victim would be running and trying to get away, but the murderer would walk slowly, patiently. There’s a sense of inevitability to it, that they will win no matter what.

Basically, huge kudos from me to whoever planned this whole thing out.

In 2006 Emmett wanted a dog but the fam said no so he collected bugs instead. This one was called Maximus but was squished by edward shortly after this pic was taken bc the buzzing was annoying him. Wait, I am entirely sure if I understand this question? You mean whether they called him Carlisle? In canon, they do call them Carlisle. Like, I do not understand how some children call their parents by first names (Bella), this is the most disrespectful thing from my perspective and in my culture. However, in terms of the Cullens, the situation is quite different.
