it is so fun you can track his character arc throughout the various uniform designs ive made for him

now he's shaved his hair, grown a beard and you can slowly see some physical changes from his demonic side begin manifest

Lot of development in Zern's campaign and I've now landed on the idea Zern is going to grow a beard and shave his head for year four.

It's so great that he's gotten so much growth and development over the campaign! From a mousey kid who struggled to keep a conversation, to just being really hot and confident. Love that for him.

The shortening of his hair throughout his college time is supposed to represent him rejecting elven beauty standards that he can't uphold and now with the beard he fully embraces his human half.

Mya is a newer addition, she's a topsider who's been stuck with the crew since she ended up owing Abbie money. Picture Kobeni from Chainsaw Man

Been enjoying just doing loose stream of consciousness sketches with highlighters and fineliners in an old sketchbook and had some fun trying to think of designs for the fiends in Strixhaven called Daemogoths

Canonically their visual restrictions are; five eyes, five arms and dressed in rags and while I’ve designed Zern’s patron Occulus I wanted to explore more variations of the concept

The results were Pentexor, Xenolathis and Harmatia, who I def want to try and refine more. I’m imagining them as a trio called the Chorus who just wander around, speak in iambic pentameter and ominously talk about the current events like a Greek tragedy choir.
