genuinely, it needs to be said so much more than it is; jacob is a gift to this franchise. the books, the show(s), whatever. he has brought so much life to such a, frankly, flat character. louis was a fairly unnoticeable character after book 1, and in the 90s movie he was kind of insufferable lmao...jacob brought so much more to louis and so much to the first installment. love love love him, peace and fortune onto him, may he never be subjected to the foolishness that occurs on twitter and tumblr. everyone say thank you jacob anderson

folks so committed to crowning armand as Worst Evil Guy™️ they straight up shredded everything lestat did prior to 2.08 from their minds like spongebob in that one ep
#legit I will indulge for a bit in daniel armand fanfare and aww at cute art and stuff#and nod at some meta analyses of his character#but then I return to parts of the show and my anger for armans returns immedietely at full force no nuance#I am very curious how in show they manage to turn him around#bc I still hold that claudias death in the show feels so completely less justified than the book#not saying she deserved it more in either I mean show claudia did not feel like an inevitable tragedy at all#she was pushed away from happiness at every turn#and this putz armand literally swoops in and goes nah I dont like you you make me jealous for my apathetic lovers attention#it feels almost entirely irredeemable#but somehow I still like armand#so the shows got a chance lol
