what I loved the most about their kiss was this moment here where you can perfectly tell who’s the one still trying to wrap his brain around what’s happening
and who’s the one that’s been waiting five fucking years for it (the way he leans in for more, fortheloveofgod)
million things are being said without uttering one single word.
remember when I said no one can do it like them?
i stand correct. absolutely no one. I love many, many BL pairings, and I love them to death, okay? but these two are really something fucking else, in my most humble opinion, and nobody will change my mind.

Think about how the Jack and Joker kiss was such a long time coming not just for fans, but for Yin and War as well.
Which is why I think they’re so snappy—not in a bad way, they’re protective of their show—with people complaining on Twitter. Consider, they worked together in 2020 during En of Love, where their own 4 episode story was the most popular out of all three story arcs. So popular in fact that fans wanted a more flushed out version of Mark and Vee’s story, but it’s not until two years later that they get to work together again, only they are playing the same characters, telling the same story, even saying the same same dialogue! Now, don’t get me wrong, Love Mechanics was a fair upgrade from the mini series. But after wanting to work together again for so long, they were just playing Mark and Vee again, how completely dull for them.
So they do what many Thai BL actors do, they go on tour together, at least that’s something. And damn if the mini heist YouTube video they make for it doesn’t do numbers! The fans want more of them, more of that! Hell they want more themselves, yet their—at the time—company wouldn’t give them roles. So screw it, they take a chance and don’t renew their contracts and become independent artists. That doesn’t always go well, and it’s a lot of hard work to get parts without a company trying to lock actors into years long contracts.
So they go full Saint and just decide to make what they wanna make on their own terms with their own money, Yin sold his damn car to help fund the series so they didn’t have to cave to corporate shilling of drinks and beauty products. It takes years to get a script hammered out, actors willing to take a chance working with them, editors, directors, all of it. And all of those people need to be paid, hell, they need to be paid!
But it’s here now, their real proper second series together, fresh and new after four—almost five—years! And what’s more, it’s doing great, amazing even. Now they have fancons in the work and tv interviews and magazines cover shoots (freaking Vogue Thailand!?), and so many companies reaching out wanting to invest in them. The management at Rookie Thailand is no doubt kicking themselves for not putting more faith in these men. They had the fans, they had the passion for the work and what’s more, they had each other. When you find that type of friendship, you fight for it, and that’s what they did to be able to make Jack & Joker. Yin and War put their blood, sweat and tears in their series, not to mention their money and reputations as well.
So when Jack and Joke finally kissed? Yeah, the chemistry was still there, was never not there. But those two, they had a point to prove and it was proven with that damn kiss.
Gifs snagged from @wanderlust-in-my-soul fantastic post—go reblog it—since after 25 minutes of scrolling it’s clear the episode gifs are too new to show up in the gif search engine lol.

I just miss Save and Hope so much. Jack and Joke might sacrifice for each other and break their promises but Save would burn the world down to protect Hope and he won't break a promise but he won't spare anyone either and I miss that energy.
I miss them and their willingness to hurt people.

Let's talk about the kiss (can we please talk about the kiss? please please please?)
The way it starts off, so intense, so passionate, so hungry... Because yes, these are two people who have been repressing these feelings for lord knows how long (I bet it's been 5 years for Joke).
The way they are holding each other, gripping each other's hair, just trying to touch any part of the other person's body. They're trying to breathe each other in because there's this sense of urgency between them. As if the other person is gonna disappear any second.
When they part to take a breath, all they do is take each other in. They look at each other to make sure that whatever's happening is real. That the other person also likes them back.
The second time they kiss, it's gentle. There's a surety in that kiss. There's a belief in that kiss. There's trust in that kiss. There's love in that kiss.
They both have been to hell and back, alone as well as together. And I think everyone's gonna agree when I say that they deserve a little bit of heaven now.

The real beauty of Aran and Tattoo is how they've always had eyes for each other in one way or another and how that's evolving. From Aran saying he'd hire him again to Tattoo saying he'd never stay with him to Aran telling Tattoo he was creative to Tattoo struggling to comfort him to Aran guiding Tattoo through the mansion to Tattoo stopping Aran from spiraling with a word and a touch to them wrapping around each other in joy.
They are both not exactly who they were meant to be by their parents but they are who they will be and, together, they will only be better.

Hehe, see Aof's tweets on THK trailer today. He was super excited and giddy😁😄😀. We all love a supportive buddy 🥹
Aww, yes!! He spoke very highly of it.
And then I also loved this interaction he had with Khaotung.
Khaotung: I’m embarrassed
P’Aof: If you are embarrassed now, how are you going to handle it when the show airs?

I think the biggest different between Jack and Joke is that Jack will put himself in horrible positions but he doesn't needlessly risk his life. He takes safer choices because he feels his life is worth living, he knows that him living is important to people. He knows he matters to his grandmother, to Tattoo, to Hoy, to Toi Ting, even to Joke.
But Joke doesn't think he matters to anyone. He sees no value in his life. He'll step in front of a knife, a gun, his abusive father, everything, a thousand times, just waiting to die, because he doesn't know that people do need him and want him around. He knows people want Joker around but Joke? Joke is a curse, useless, a stumbling block in the way of the people he cares about.
Jack will give up so many things but his life matters to him... Joke doesn't have that limit. Joke will not hesitate to be hurt or to hurt himself or to give up his life for the sake of anyone. Because he doesn't see his life as worth anything.
(Jack told Save that Joke was good luck but Joke still thinks he's a curse because no one told him. And he looks at Jack and grandma and all the people they care about and he assumes that if he gives up his life to protect even a fraction of theirs, the exchange is fair.)
It's about how Joke hides his own sacrifices and even the ones that people find out about are seen as smaller because the whole truth is still deeply hidden because he doesn't think anyone needs to know about his pain when they have enough of their own.
