I still think the most devastating enshittification I've ever seen has been picrew. One of the few dress-up game websites left that's not flash-based and it's become DRENCHED in ads. You can't open the home screen without being blasted by at least three or four ads. You can't open two picrews in a row without watching a video ad first. When you have a picrew open the ads cover up the different options and sometimes even stack on each other so you have to hit like 2 or 3 different x buttons to get it to go away, only for more to appear seconds later. It is WAY too easy to accidentally take Paladin Danse's clothing away forever, as his power armor makes it impossible to re-equip it, which is fine until he takes his power armor off during the most intense part of his personal story and he's in his tightie whities asking you to kill him

i think so much about how the sole survivor has the pre-war context to know that nuka cola is not supposed to be flat. they also know what pre-war food tasted like 200 years ago and not irradiated. the absolute fucking reckoning when they finally sit down after vault 111 to have a snack and a drink and realize theyre tasting a box of dandy boy apples thats been in a desk drawer for 200 years and an equally old flat nuka cola and they know the difference
