Mobile Phone
A smartphone is a type of mobile device that combines the functionality of a phone with the capabilities of a computer. It typically has a touch screen interface, and can connect to the internet through cellular networks or Wi-Fi.
Smartphones can perform a wide variety of tasks, including making phone calls, sending text messages and emails, taking photos and videos, playing music and videos, browsing the web, using social media, and running various apps.
Most smartphones are powered by a mobile operating system, such as Android or iOS, and come equipped with a variety of sensors and hardware components, such as cameras, microphones, GPS receivers, accelerometers, and gyroscopes.
One of the main characteristics of smartphones is the screen. Depending on the device's design, the screen fills most or nearly all of the space on a device's front surface. Many smartphone displays have an aspect ratio of 16:9, but taller aspect ratios became more common in 2017, as well as the aim to eliminate bezels by extending the display surface to as close to the edges as possible.
As technology continued to advance, smartphones became more powerful and versatile. They could take high-quality photos and videos, play music and games, and even track fitness and health data. The introduction of the iPhone in 2007 revolutionized the smartphone industry, setting a new standard for design and functionality.
Today, smartphones are an essential part of modern life. They connect us to the world around us, allow us to work and communicate on the go, and provide endless entertainment and information. With each passing year, mobile phones continue to evolve, offering new features and capabilities that we never thought possible.
In the end, the evolution of mobile phones is a testament to the incredible power of human innovation and the endless possibilities that technology can bring. Who knows what the future holds for this ever-evolving device

A TERRIBLE EVENING
One day I was working along the road in evening. I saw, something was coming along the river. Well I saw something moved on it. I looked it like a basin. So I ran near the river bank. That time I saw my friend Saman and Nimal where coming along the road. I shouted them,
“My friends, something is moving in the basin on river. Come and search” That time they ran at near me. They search what was coming, That time Nimal shouted “look, look, there is a baby on basin” That time we wondered. That time my friend Saman said “let’s save that baby”
That time Nimal said “I can swim well” after he jumped into the river and he swam, but water was deep. So He was hard to swim. So he tried more to save baby’s life. After 10 minutes He came back to river bank with baby. We saw baby was crying. We felt sad. Then we cuddle the baby. And Nimal said “shall we do now” Then I said “we don’t know anything about this baby so let’s we go to the police station” That time my friend Saman said “we are children so we can’t face this problem, we can go police station with an elder” other friends like this idea. So we went our home with baby. Then we told everything about this problem to our father. After that my father, friends and me went to police station with baby. Our father said everything to O.I.C. in police station. That time he thanks us to  safe this baby’s life. He said “your good brave children we will handover this baby’s parent’s” after that we wen home back.

A Promised Land(review)
Tumblr media
"A Promised Land" is a memoir written by Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, and published in 2020. The book provides an intimate and detailed account of Obama's presidency, from his early days on the campaign trail to the challenges he faced in office and his efforts to build a better future for all Americans.
3.4 million copy run was increased to 4.3 million due to high demand.
Throughout the book, Obama reflects on the key moments of his presidency, including the passage of the Affordable Care Act, the killing of Osama bin Laden, and the negotiations surrounding the Paris climate agreement. He also delves into his personal life, sharing insights into his family and the ways in which his experiences shaped his approach to leadership.
One of the most striking aspects of "A Promised Land" is its honesty and introspection. Obama is candid about the challenges he faced during his presidency, including the political opposition he encountered and the difficult decisions he had to make. He also reflects on the larger social and political issues of the time, including the ongoing struggle for racial justice and the threat of climate change.
Overall, "A Promised Land" is a beautifully written and deeply insightful memoir that offers a unique perspective on the presidency of Barack Obama. It is a must-read for anyone interested in understanding the man behind the historic presidency
Obama said in a tweet following the announcement of the publication of the book that he has aimed to "provide an honest accounting of my presidency, the forces we grapple with as a nation, and how we can heal our divisions and make democracy work for everybody"
The memoir, remaining focused on Obama's political life, begins with his early life, details his first campaigns, and stretches through most of his first term as president.[8] The book concludes with the events surrounding the killing of Osama bin Laden in May 2011,[12][13] ending with a meeting between Obama and the Navy SEALs who conducted the raid.[8] While the book remains focused on politics, the first 200 pages of the book, approximately, are devoted to Obama's life and career up through his time in Chicago.

Wish Upon(Review)
Tumblr media
"Wish Upon" is a 2017 American supernatural horror film directed by John R. Leonetti and written by Barbara Marshall. The movie follows the story of a teenage girl named Clare Shannon (played by Joey King) who discovers an ancient Chinese music box that grants her wishes. However, each wish she makes comes with a deadly price, putting herself and those around her in danger.
The film begins with a prologue set in ancient China, where a man is sentenced to death for stealing the music box from a shrine. The box is said to grant seven wishes, but at a great cost. The man makes his final wish, and the box disappears into the shadows.
The story then shifts to present-day America, where we meet Clare Shannon, a high school student struggling to fit in. She lives with her father, Jonathan (played by Ryan Phillippe), a dumpster-diving hoarder who suffers from depression since the suicide of Clare's mother. Clare is constantly bullied by her classmates, especially by her nemesis Darcie (played by Josephine Langford), who is dating Clare's crush, Paul (played by Mitchell Slaggert).
One day, while scavenging through a dumpster, Jonathan finds the mysterious music box and gives it to Clare as a gift. At first, Clare is skeptical, but when she makes her first wish, her life begins to change. She wishes for money, and the next day, a bag of cash falls from the sky. Clare begins to make more wishes, including popularity, beauty, and revenge against her bullies.
However, Clare soon discovers that each wish comes with a price. As her wishes become more and more dangerous, people around her start to die in mysterious ways. Clare realizes that the music box is cursed and that she must find a way to break the curse before it's too late.
The movie's plot is intriguing and has a lot of potential. However, the execution is lacking in many areas. The pacing of the film is slow, and the horror elements are not as effective as they could be. The film relies too heavily on jump scares, which feel forced and predictable. The movie's attempts at social commentary on bullying and high school culture also fall flat and feel cliched.
The acting in the movie is average, with the exception of Joey King's performance as Clare. She portrays the character well, showcasing the character's growth and descent into darkness. However, the other characters feel underdeveloped and stereotypical.
The film's special effects are also lacking. The death scenes are unimpressive and do not have the shock value that is necessary for a horror movie. The makeup and practical effects are also unconvincing.
Overall, "Wish Upon" is a forgettable horror movie with a promising premise that fails to deliver. The slow pacing, predictable jump scares, and lack of effective horror elements make it a disappointing watch. The movie is not scary enough to be considered a horror film and not engaging enough to be considered a drama. The social commentary is also underwhelming and does not add anything to the film.
In conclusion, I would not recommend "Wish Upon" to horror movie fans. While it has an interesting premise, the execution is lacking in many areas. There are far better horror movies out there that are more engaging, scarier, and have more effective social commentary.
