Do you ever find yourself with pages and pages of doodles of characters and no story to write or create for them to give the hours of work you accidentally put in over several years context and meaning?? Like, all you have is what you know about them based on the “art” you created but there’s nothing you can do with that knowledge bc there’s no cohesion between the pages—same characters, same personalities seen throughout the work, characters that you cannot describe or explain to anyone who hasn’t been there since you started drawing

remember, the first Pride was a riot, and she was one of the brave souls who endured it to help carve the path which so many of us walk today. she helped found several activist groups regarding LGBT safety and wellbeing. and she was absolutely radiant, too.
