rkseokwoo‌:
The second time sunbae comes from Jaehyun’s lips, Seokwoo notices it more. His gaze flickering to the younger trainee, flashing a smile and then nodding as he looks back down at the pages he was getting into order. “I was checking. I don’t know much about guitars,” he confesses with a soft chuckle, knowing that even if it wasn’t tuned; he’d have little to no idea about what to do to help. “I just know that you do that – tune them.”
At the question, he was quickly nodding and piecing together the music sheets, collecting them in his hands and tapping them down to straighten them out. “All good! I fixed it!” He announced, knowing he might have been too proud about this fact, especially since he shouldn’t have gotten them out of order in the first place. The pages placed back into the stand on his keyboard as he heard a few chords being played and paused to focus on Jaehyun.
He lingered quietly for a second, ruminating over what he heard and placing it together with what he knew of the song. The smile rose first on his lips, nodding. “It sounds good! You’re really getting it,” Seokwoo praised, eyes curving into crescents. No matter what, his group were working hard and getting this song together well. “You look really handsome with the guitar too. Visual. Visual, for sure.”
Seokwoo carefully leaned his weight into the keyboard, focusing his attention on Jaehyun completely. “Play it again for me? A little more this time?”
jaehyun looked at him as seokwoo talked about how little he knew about the instrument that he was playing, he wrinkled his nose. he himself knew nothing about guitars, though he had praciced alot and was slowly starting to the get the hang of the unfamiliar instrument, though it was far from how good it probably could be.
a small smile curved his lips as he noticed how happy the older male was about sorting out his papers, it was interesting to him but then again, jaehyun had been introduced to many new scenarios after becoming a trainee. he wasn’t the only one learning a new instrument, “that’s good to hear,” he nodded, giving the male a small smile.
listening patiently as the older tried to give him advice as he played, however what was complimented was his appearance, maybe seokwoo wasn’t aware, “that’s why i was signed after all, for my visuals,” he was well aware that he was attractive-- though he didn’t rub it in the faces of others, “if i didn’t look the way i do i wouldn’t be here.”
jaehyun turned his attention back at the intrument, nodding as seokwoo asked him to play a longer part this time and like that jaehyun started playing, he played from the first chorus and when his verse came around, he even sang along while he played. softer than he would sing during the actual performance.

rkheejin‌:
( a rkcomcenter starter w. @rkhyunjae ).
heejin is hunched over in her seat, dark hair forming a sort of curtain that involuntarily covers her face as she does her best to keep streaks of black and yellow paints neat and pretty looking— if she was really intent on hanging the piece up once it was complete ( and, oh, was she set on hanging it up and showing it off ), she wanted it to look as nice and presentable as it possibly could. sitting up slightly, giving her back a small stretch, she looks over her semi-finished canvas with a hum before turning to look at jaehyun, eyes bright.
“hyunnie, what do you think so far?” she asks lightly, moving her canvas so it’s facing him a bit better, leaning in her seat to rest her chin as best as she could on his shoulder. “it’s coming along, huh!” she gives a small laugh, eyes moving over to his own painting. “let me see what you’ve got so far.”
after becoming a trainee jaehyun had been busy right away, filming a cf-- something heejin did as well, then practicing day and night for an evaluation. he had always been hardworking and goal oriented, so when heejin suggested they go paint together he was happy. finally getting to spend time with her, his girlfriend, doing something she wanted. never had he been someone to please others but he wanted to do whatever he could, to make heejin happy. seeing her smile truly brightened up his now rather exhausting days.
in his daze he had forgotten to properly paint, aimlessly staring at her and then into the air-- truly wasn’t the ideal situation. even though he appreciated her features when she concentrated. jaehyun started painting his own, he had decided on a swan-- for some reason he thought that would be easy. with a few strokes of his brush he manage to outline the bird but it didn’t look...exactly like it did in the picture... when heejin turned her attention and canvas to him, he turned his head so he could see it better, “yours is looking good, didn’t know you were a good painter,” no wonder she would want to paint. he turned to look at his own, wrinkling his nose before rubbing his neck... “mine isn’t really up to par,” jaehyun smiled sheepishly-- he wasn’t the creative type, he turned his canvas so heejin could easier have a look.

rktaeyang‌:
[ -- ]
and, how can he meet little jaehyun’s eyes? he couldn’t, he don’t know how to. just then there was a knock on his bedroom door and taeyang know exactly who it is. he can hear it easily by the strength of the knock, and somewhat by the height of where the sound come from. just a short moment after his guess was confirmed as jaehyun called out for him from the other side in a tone so optimistic and joyful, that taeyang was sligihtly curious. nobody in this house had such a cheerful tone of speech since that evening. he rolled out of bed, still a bit hesitant, but moved to open the door. it was a bit awkward, and he opened it barely enough to take a look.
“what.” he didn’t mean to sound so cold but he was tired, hungry and over all in a bad mood.
for the first time in a week he felt excited about something-- something he wanted to show his brother, hoping that he would be happy about it. if there was one thing that jaehyun thought was that taeyang would be happy about this. after all-- he couldn’t play properly anymore, jaehyun didn’t understand the gravity of what had happened but seeing how depressed taeyang was he managed to connect the dots.
when the door opened he froze for a moment, clutching onto the volleyball-- this wasn’t a side he was used to seeing from his older brother. usually there was only kindness and warmth when they interacted but not now.
it took him a moment to gather himself, “ah... hy... hyung,” his words didn’t come out properly, they were caught in his throat, “i am going to start playing volleyball!”
jaehyun managed to push forth a smile on his face, his eyes turning into cresents as he lifted the ball. the excitement on his face was clear, jaehyun thought that this was the right thing to do. after all their father had said, taeyang would be happy about it. it made sense to him, of crouse taeyang would be happy if his little brother carried on the torch right? there was no reason he wouldn’t be happy.
that was the thought process in the younger male’s head, though looking at taeyang jaehyun coudln’t read his expression. the unfamiliar coldness in his voice, somewhere deep inside him jaehyun wondered, ‘will he be happy?’

rkjinjin‌:
All tension was relieved at the other’s smile, all fear and intimidation gone and Jinwoo had to reach the conclusion that he had jumped the gun again and made first impressions be the judge of his thoughts about someone. It was a bad habit that he really had to get rid of somehow, because he didn’t like how easily he listened to things like rumours and whispers. Heck, even Sungho had proven to be much different than he thought the guy would be once they finally had a chance to work together, although Jinwoo had to admit he was still kind of wary of him. With that many rumours there had to be some of them that were right… right?
No, it wasn’t the time to speculate about such things. Jaehyun even assured him that it was okay to speak informally too, which he supposed should have come naturally, but Jinwoo was always a ‘better safe than sorry’ kind of guy when it came to strangers. “Got it. Jaehyun ah,” he commented with a smile back. It felt good being an older trainee for a change. Maybe he should start interacting more with the other dongsaengs as well.
“If you want to, you can also call me by Jinjin instead. It’s something one of my hyungs do and I’ve kind of taken a liking to it.” As he spoke he led the way, making sure to grab his coat from his locker on the way out as it was still rather chilly. “It’s not a long way, just down the road, but I’d be very ashamed if I got KT’s newest addition sick with a cold from the very get go!”
it felt somewhat awkward being in this position, in an idol company-- jaehyun had never thought that he would be in a place like this. surrounded by people that probably wanted to debut and had wanted to be idols since they were teens. yet here he was-- signed just because of his face, he for sure didn’t deserve this spot. even jiwon was here because she wanted to be here-- she had auditioned, yet he had just gotten accepted.
somewhere inside he felt somewhat bad about it, then again it wasn’t his fault really. why should he feel bad if any of the others, didn’t get signed? jaehyun was sure he had heard that juyeon had gotten signed as well, he had to make sure to congratulate him the next time he saw him.
“jinjin?” jaehyun lifted his brows at the male, it didn’t roll of this tongue comfortably-- “if you are ok with it i’ll call you hyung... jin hyung.... or jinwoo hyung?” he was somewhat uncertain, jinjin felt rather familiar and now that he was faced with the older he could tell, he was from a warmer family than his own, jaehyun smiled, “if you are ok with that of course!” seeing the male be so positive, remembering sunwoo and johnny from the previous day-- he wondered if the other trainees in kt were as positive as them or if it was just a special trait of those three.

rkjohnny‌:
When Johnny first saw the name “Jaehyun” on the script, he immediately thought it was going to be Jung Jaehyun as in his friend. However, those hopes had immediately been dashed when he didn’t see a familiar face hanging out by the shooting games. Instead, it was some unknown face staring back at him. Hang on… the face isn’t so unknown after all. Wasn’t this guy some volleyball star? Johnny needs to check his news sources when he gets home later.
There so many mysteries to be solved here. First of all, what was some volleyball player doing at the shoot? Second of all, why did the people at KT scout him to join the KT Rookies for this instead of any other actual KT trainees? Third, is he a new KT trainee that’s why he’s here? So many questions, and Johnny doubts he’ll get answers for them anytime soon.
Regardless, Johnny decides that he probably ought to make the new guy feel welcome to the team. They’re all supposed to be acting like friends here. It’ll be more convincing if they are also friendly off-cam too.
“Hi! You’re Jaehyun, right?” Johnny says once he ball has fallen into the ring. “My name is Johnny, and I’m one of the guys you’re filming with today. It’s nice to meet you!”
jaehyun turned around, looking at someone that was taller than he was... surprisingly, jaehyun hadn’t met that many people that were actually taller than him but the male standing infront of him now was clearly taller than he was... by at least five centimeters, he wasn’t sure though. even if he had just made the hoop, jaehyun straightened his back a little more-- the intimidated feeling he had felt earlier was now back, sunwoo had been a flustered mess but johnny didn’t seem to be phased by him.
“yea i am, lee jaehyun--,” jaehyun bowed at the male flashing him a friendly smile before, hearing that he was the one that he was filming with made him wonder. if him and johnny were playign the basketball game because they were both tall, “it is nice to meet you too.”
he was unsure of how to continue the conversation but then he also figured that-- him and johnny were supposed to seem friendly in the shoot. jaehyun figured that johnny would rather film with anyone but the new kid-- however this was the scenario.
“you played any basket ball before... sunbae?”

rkseokwoo‌:
With the sheets of lyrics and notes in front of him, Seokwoo scratched at the top of his head and furrowed his brow. There was something wrong, he could feel it every time he went to move through the keys and he couldn’t quite figure out where he was going awry. More than once he shuffled through the papers, examining them closely and murmuring them under his breath as he tried to keep the beat. If he were honest, he didn’t expect the performance to go spectacularly, but he knew his group would do their best and play admirably.
Seokwoo wanted to have fun in the meantime – and not look like a total fool.
His lips parting with a sigh, shaking his head as he realised he’d gotten the papers shuffled out of order. “You’re such an idiot, Seokwoo,” he muttered to himself, slightly affectionate and slightly frustrated that it’d take him so long. The smile hanging loosely on his lips as he began to place them out across the keyboard and rearrange them. His eyes flickering up when he heard the younger trainee’s voice and his eyes crinkled.
“Jaehyunnie. Of course! Is your guitar.. tuned, right?”
There was a soft chuckle, knowing he was fumbling through this as much as some of the new trainees were. Music sheets stacked back together. “I got all my sheets mixed up. It was very, very silly. Let’s hope I didn’t learn it the wrong way too much, right?” He shook his head at his own actions.
jaehyun sat down on a chair next to the older male as he was pracitcing his own playing, wrinling his nose his fingers went over the strings. jaehyun had more or lessed memories the grips-- they weren’t that hard, the biggest issue he had was not sounding horrible while playing. no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t play it perfectly and it bothered him. jaehyun knew that it would take time to master the guitar, but it still bothered him.
turning the the male as he called out his own name, with a familiarity jaehyun wasn’t ready for. he shook it off and didn’t bother with it, he was younger after all-- he needed to respect the seniors, regardless of what they said.
“sunbae--” he gave the older a deadass look, “of course it is tuned... i got help to tune it.”
jaehyun wasn’t 100% certain it was tuned perfectly but he had gone to a store and gotten it tuned, jaehyun didn’t think a guitar he got to borrow was out of tune but he did it nevertheless. better to be safe than sorry.
“do you have your papers in order now?” he asked the male, as he had noticed the other looking confused right before he had asked to practice together earlier. once again he let his fingers run over the strings-- the sound was just right in his ears he didn’t hear a false note, “does it sound ok to you sunbae?”

the march evals - group performance, day6 - congratulations  // lines 「 w: @rkxluda, @rksomi, @rkssoojin & @rkseokwoo」
it was the day of their group performance, they had gotten a couple group practises in, they were no where near perfect and jaehyun had barley had two weeks to prepare for his part. most of that time he had spent trying to learn how to play the guitar-- then his singing lines. which to his surprise he had gotten multiple, more than he thought-- considering he was a rather fresh face, no one in kt or in any of the other companies knew if he could sing.
there was a kind of trust in that and jaehyun didn’t want to disappoint anyone, if he could cover his not close to perfect guitar playing with his voice-- that is what he would do. thanfully he had heejin, who had stayed at his new place for most of the mont, she had suffered through his practices and complimented him, probably more than he deserved.
now, he was sitting infront of the coaches with a guitar.
when he wasn’t singing, jaehyun focused on playing the chords correctly even though there were a couple of misses. jaehyun somehow managed, when it was time for him to sing he sang his lines. jaehyun wasn’t used to singing while playing an intrument-- which lead to him focusing on delivering the lyrics to the best of his own ability.
jaehyun felt more comfortable as the song went on, it was usually like this-- his confidence grows and when his fingers go over the strings he realizes apart of himself that he wasn’t quite aware of. maybe he should learn how to play the guitar one day-- it wasn’t his main focus now but he would like to play something, for the day when he potentially debuts.
congratulations 어떻게 이래 congratulations 넌 절대 내게 돌아오지 않아 기대조차 않아 나 없이도 얼마나 잘 살지 몰라 woah
after the rap jaehyun delivers the beginning of the chorus, in the start of the song he had sang mostly in his head voice but now he moved onto his chest voice for more volume. soojin takes over after him and then luda finishes it, he was amazed listening to her during the rehersals, she was really amazing singer, jaehyun knew he could never sing like her but he would continue to work hard. then maybe one day at least he would be decent enough to debut.

devestation. that was the feeling he felt inside, looking at his brother-- after hearing the news that taeyang couldn’t play. the ten year old boy didn’t know how to make things better. jaehyun felt as useless as he could feel. his older brother was heartbroken-- almost like a ghost of his former self.
the older brother he admired, who he loved and adored above anything else. how could he make him feel better? for a ten year old that was probably a heavy burden to give to himself but he wanted to do something, the small boy just wasn’t sure what he could do. all he did now was sit in the living room and stare longingly at the bedroom door that used to be open for him whenever, now it was closed-- an invisible wall made it impossible for him to enter.
every time he went to knock on taeyangs door he was shunned away-- their father was too busy talking on the phone or telling taeyang that he was a digrace. jaehyun didn’t know what that meant but he knew it was a bad word.
a week had passed since the injuary and the air in the house was heavy, before dinner time jaehyun found one of the volleyballs lying around and he started playing with it. innocently. he used to toss balls for taeyang to hit-- ‘ will he never be able to hit my toss again? ‘ jaehyun threw the ball at the wall-- aimlessly. without him noticing his father had been staring at him-- with a glimt in his eyes. the moment the mother called for dinner everyone gatehred at the table, taeyang didn’t join them.
“jaehyun,” the father suddenly said as he took a serving, “do you like volleyball?” even though he didn’t know, jaehyun’s dad didn’t care if he liked it or not, besides that jaehyun had never really thought of himself as someone who liked to play volleyball, “i guess, it was fun to toss balls to hyung,”  the gears inside sangmin’s brain worked, “do you know what i think will make taeyang happy?” the mother looked concerned at the younger boy but his attention was only on his father, “what?” jaehyun was willing to do anything to make taeyang happy again, “if you started playing volleyball for him.”
the young, impressionable boy looked at his father with innocent eyes, they almost sparkled. jaehyun hadn’t thought of that, if taeyang couldn’t play anymore-- maybe he would be happy if he started playing for both of them. a wide smile grew on his face as he looked up at his father again, “i’ll do it.”
after dinner jaehyun grabbed a volleyball and walked up to taeyang’s bedroom door, for the first time he courageously knocked on the elders door.
“hyung,” his voice excited and happy, jaehyun couldn’t wait to tell him the good news.

immideately after he had become a trainee he realized, he had joined in the middle of an evaluation. jaehyun wrinkled his nose. after looking around he somehow found a group to perform with-- however he needed to learn how to play an intrument and well. jaehyun had never really had an interest in playing the guitar before. however he picked up one ( rather bravely if he could say so himself ). the group he had found? called themselves mistake... with the eight number.
jaehyun had been lucky enough to get to sing though-- even though it wasn’t one of his specialities, he liked singing karaoke so that was the energy he went in this with. now after diligently practicing the guitar, desperately, for a couple days. the only thing he had focused on was learning the rythm.
“uh, seokwoo... sunbae?” he approached the older male, “do you mind practicing a little together?” jaehyun had practiced seperately, just to learn the chords-- now he felt somewhat ready to practice togethe with someone.

「 another era 」
jaehyun had seen the script-- he was shooting with someone called johnny, who that was he didn’t know. in that moment he regretted not asking sunwoo who johnny was, that way he could probably have introduced him. jaehyun figured that if he hung around the basketball game at the arcade, mayeb the male would show up sooner or later.
while he was there he realized it had been a couple months since he had been at an arcade, he rarely had the time and with starting his new semester jaehyun had yet o find the time. ‘i just started my semester but i’m gonna have to quit...’ he thought to himself, grabbing a basketball. staring at the hoop, ‘if i make this shot i’ll quit university tomorrow,’ there was always a chance he could finish his degree later.
he took a step back and got himself into his position, taking a deep breath he closed his eyes. feeling rather serious all of a sudden, then when he opened them again he tossed the ball, into the hoop.
“i guess that settles that.”

rksunwoo‌:
--
“I was just.. I got distracted for a second. I don’t know,” as soon as the first part came out, he wished he could retract his statement. What if Jaehyun asked him what distracted him? Sunwoo didn’t have an answer. It’s not as if he could tell the truth. “I don’t know why they gave me this phone, I’m not good at playing these games. I keep getting game over and running out of chances, and I’m just… I’m really bad at it,” he began to ramble, as he always did, hoping to bury any questions that may have come up. “I’m sorry.”
it was concerning to say the least-- also very confusing he didn’t quite understand the behavior that the male was presenting him with. jaehyun had noticed how the male was staring holes into his head and body-- like he was analyzing him but not the hostile way... jaehyun didn’t really understand what was going on. he was the new guy but in this position he felt like the male infront of him was the new guy being introduced to a senior.
jaehyun shook his head, waiting for the male to take the phone he had picked up from him. the stuttering didn’t make the situation better-- was he intimidating? or scary? had he somehow scared the shorter male? without even knowing it?
when sunwoo took the phone jaehyun stood up straight again, rubbing the back of his neck with an awkward smile-- “distracted?” he questined as the male came with his excuse, maybe he wasn’t used this scenario either but jaehyun wasn’t sure how to respond to that. “i am sure you’ll do fine sunbae,” he nodded his head and gave the male a quick smile, “why are you sorry?” jaehyun was genuinly confused as to why the male said he was sorry, what had he done to be apologetic for.
“is the phone alright?” he asked after knowing that it was a phone that would be used as a prop, it would be bad if it broke in any way, somehow jaehyun couldn’t help but feel guilty. maybe he had startled the male and that is why he had dropped it, ‘great job, breaking something your first day as a trainee...’
— oh no, another one

rkjinjin‌:
‘Lee Jaehyun’, Jinwoo repeated in his mind with a firm nod and decided with himself that it was time to try stop being an embarrassment. Fortunately it seemed like this guy, Jaehyun, didn’t think too deeply into his actions other than the fact that he was (understandably) confused about the apology. The guy was right, there was nothing to be sorry for. Even more so, the guy hit a very good page in Jinwoo’s book by immediately referring to him as sunbae, and the pride already welled up within him. He hadn’t really felt that he deserved that title yet; had only really taken pride in it when he had his evaluation with Seokwoo who was also his junior, but somehow Jaehyun seemed less intimidating than the MGA trainees. Of course there was also Jiwon, but she seemed like a terrified sheep half of the time – although he could kind of understand it: he must have been the same back when he first joined.
“That makes things really easy!” he said in relief and gave a warm smile at the taller. Now that he looked closer, looked past the height, this guy was also incredibly handsome wasn’t he? If only Jinwoo himself could have at least some of that, but he had to make do with what he had. For a moment he contemplated the options in the vicinity. “There’s a cafe not too far from here that makes a really good chai latte. Or even if you’re not up for tea or coffee, they also have an amazing white chocolate drink. I had it once and I’m pretty sure I went to heaven for a moment!” Rambling along he looked at his clock and how much time they still had for break, when it hit him that the new trainee might not even wish to keep him company. “Ah!” he let out sheepishly, “that is of course if you even want to go with me. I wanted to treat you and like, make you feel welcome, but of course you don’t have to come if you don’t want to, Jaehyun… ssi.” For a moment he paused while deciding what to call the other. As far as he had heard the guy was younger, but somehow he just looked so much more grown up than Jinwoo himself did, much taller and much more well built. Plus they were still strangers, so he wasn’t sure he could be all familiar with the guy.
everything here was still incedibly new to him, it hadn’t been that long since he had become a trainee. one thing she needed to to was concect his uniersity and request either a drop out or studying part time so he could be a trainee for most of his time. it wasn’t that he was particularly dedicated to it-- he was just never one to half ass something. which is why it would honestly end up with him just cancelling- he had only started and if he quit early someone else could get his spot. ‘yea that is for the best’ he thought, nodding to himself before turning his attention to the male infront of him again.
jaehyun gave the male a small smile-- maybe being a trainee wouldn’t be too bad. the people he had met SO far were nice enough, he hadn’t gotten to interact with everyone on the dya of the filming but he had a feeling that he’d do fine. “cafe sounds good,” his sentences were short but he had never been one to ramble on, straight to the point that was one of his traits. though he did admire people that were as seemingly carefree as the older male.
his eyes widened for a moments as he called his name, it felt rather formal-- “you can just call me jaehyun, speak comfortably,” he nodded his head. somehow it felt like the roles were reversed. even though he was the younger out of the two, why did it feel like the other trainee needed his permission to speak comfortably? jaehyun couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought, “should we go?”

rkjhyxk‌:
- a starter for @rkhyunjae , @haebinrk and @rkxkikwang
They often found each other in one another’s homes, yet despite that, he treasures moments like this. Taking a last inhale smoke, he carelessly tossed it aside as he made his way to the bowling alley and arcade. Joohyuk refuses to believe he was being sentimental- although that’s the only explanation on why he was feeling that way- and instead focusing on the fact that he was simply feeling a little nostalgic. A little is the key word there of course.
He gets there earlier than the rest, quickly shooting one everyone a message in their group chat and informing them he has arrived. Before proceeding towards the counter and requesting a lane for him and the gang. The tattoo-artist leans against the side of the counter, ordering for a beer as he waits for everyone else to arrive.
He refuses to acknowledge that he was being sentimental, especially on this specific day. There was no way he was going to gap all sappy and weird on his birthday, it just ain’t his style. Instead, he’ll have to focus on beating his team in the solo game of bowling.
when was the last time that they had all gotten together, all four of them? it felt like forever-- especially since all of them were busy with their own lives. jaehyun himself had also been quite busy-- with many different things. in his heart he hoped they wouldn’t bring up any of the embarassing articles that had been written about him.
upon entering the bowling area he glanced around, pursing his lips as he tries to spot the older male. it didn’t take him long to notice the male by the counter, wiht a beer in his hand. jaehyun walked up to him and waved, “hyung--” he uttered and hid the present he had bought for the male behind his back.
“happy birthday!” he said as soon as he was close enough, handing the male the box he had hidden behind his back. it was nothing fancy, just a cup.

rkiny‌:
she can’t help the small giggle that leaves her, a hand reaching out towards him, gently pinching one of his cheeks between two of her fingers fondly. “don’t worry, jae— you’re far from crazy right now. you’ve just…never really experienced something like this before, so it only feels strange. hopefully, you’ll get used to it,” her tone is still warm.
experiencing a possible first love— nayeon could remember when that’d happened to her, those memories bittersweet. everyone deserved to feel this wonder, this excitement, even if it ended in flames ( it did for her, and even if part of her wanted to take it all back for the sake of saving her younger heart, part of her is almost grateful for the experience and growth it gave her ).
she could only hope it all worked out for jaehyun going forward.
“you’ll have to introduce me to this girl once you get her because iknow you will— who could possibly resist someone as handsome and good as you?” her words come playfully once more, turning and moving to match his pace better next to him. she’d almost forgotten they were still skating. “i’ll make cookies and hot chocolates!”
he wasn’t sure how he felt about the sudden pinch of his cheek, jaehyun let it go because it was nayeon that was the perpetrator. never in his life had he been able to be upset with her. he wasn’t about to let a pinch of his cheek be the reason why he got upset with her. “hopefully, hm,” he repeated her words smiling slightly at her.
there was something thrilling about everything that he was experiencing, it had worried him that it might die down if he did decide to confess his feelings. however he wasn’t so sure it would make it easier for him if he stayed quiet. never had he felt like this-- it was
“noona...”
he hesitated for a little, introduce heejin to someone-- “i don’t even know if i’ll ask her out yet.” it wasn’t a lie, though it was a first for him this feeling. it was bubbling up inside and he wasn’t sure if he would be able to keep things to himself for long. hearing nayeon compliment his face made him laugh, if only she knew about the first impression he probably had given heejin.
seeing the older female get more comfortable on the ice made him happy, maybe the casual talk had made her forget her worries. he wasn’t sure, “look at you skating without a worry.”
