It is incredibly haunting to watch Palestinians in Gaza on twt literally posting that they need help and how the world has turned their backs on them only to be killed by an Israeli air strike a few hours or days later - their calls for help still up to read on their accounts. It cannot be spelled Alppain (A L P P A I N) to actually match what the charater's named after because I don't want it to actually be clogging up the tag for the book.

The options ending with - A E N offer a bonus reference to Leehallfae, for whom the pronouns ae/aer were invented.

The options ending with A Y N offer more clear pronunciation.

The options that start with U instead of A also subtly reference ulfire, one of the unique colors that can be perceived by the inhabitants of Tormance but not by humans. (the other being jale)

Changeling, or Alppain, is nonbinary and uses hero/heros pronouns, and is an actual superhero who has the ability to shapeshift, but does heros best to keep that ability secret, pretending to have other powers instead, because there's no good reason to let the cops know what your actual powers are, now is there?

Well this was going fine until hero was captured by an actual villain, an evil scientist who likes to experiment on other mutants and eventually lets them go, now with free trauma, their powers not working for about a week or so, and metal devices of unknown purpose imbedded in their arms and legs. No one knows what this villain is hoping to accomplish, though it's assumed that the goal is either stealing or duplicating other mutants' powers, or figuring out what causes the mutations in the first place.

Anyways I'm stil designing Changeling / Alppain's hero and...normal forms so:

BTW this character is public domain because I say so. Whenever I successfully draw hero those designs will also be public domain, and you can use them for whatever you want, as long as you don't change heros pronouns.
