I missed shelfie day at work but I still have some old photos of my bookcase from when I was learning how to use a DSLR camera.

I'd also like to emphasize that most of the manga I ever bought were from used bookstores, or purchased when American book chains like Waldenbooks and Borders filed for bankruptcy. The late 2000s was a golden age for being an adolescent manga reader.

Does everyone has the same kind of New Year's airing of grievances tradition but with different variations?

A long time ago when I was a tween reading Gorillaz fan fiction I had read about writing bad things on ceramic plates and smashing them, but that seemed like a huge waste of plates.

Fast forward to the last couple years and at the start of January I usually write a list of all the bad or disappointing experiences that happened in the previous year. When I'm done adding everything to a sheet of paper I put it through a paper shredder. It's unceremonious but feels very cathartic.

When I told my current roommate about the paper shredding activity she said her family's tradition was to get a russet potato and a sweet potato. The negative things are written on the russet potato and the positive things are put on the sweet potato before they get launched into the woods or off a cliff.

Hello! Love your blog! ~ I wanted to say thank you so much for compiling the Sleeping Dead extras!! Have you seen the one-shot 'Sada-kun's Love' that Asada Nemui uploaded (in parts) on her twitter? Would you consider translating it?

Hi,

I started working on that extra but I stopped after noticing that someone had uploaded it on batato/battwo. This scanlator used google translate but it's readable (not without some mistakes though - like mistranslating karaoke as orchestra) if you want to check it out! I was having trouble trying to figure out the narration- it seems to switch between third person and Sada in first person- so in my opinion I felt unsure about how readable my version was turning out.
