Commercial Freezers

There are different types of freezers available in the market for commercial use. They are also used for house hold uses and home business as well. Different types available for these uses are chest freezer, drawer freezer, upright freezer, and portable freezer.

Chest freezer: it is the most economical one. It has a box or chest shape hence the name comes. It comes in different sizes and capacities. Chest freezers do not have a fan, which limits the air circulation and causes the temperature to be inconsistent, although as long as it can maintain a temperature below freezing, it will not affect the foods negatively.

Drawer freezer: It typically found in large kitchens, gourmet and comes in variety of finishes. They are commonly installed in such a way to make extension in future.

Upright freezer: It is somewhat costlier than a chest freezer. But the convenience they offer makes the extra cost more than worth it.

Portable freezer: The development of small, portable freezers has made it possible to transport items in danger of spoiling without the mess and inconvenience of a cooler filled with ice.
