Search Engine Optimization or SEO is one of the major processes that helps in boosting the company’s lead generation by growing the quality and quantity of website traffic. World Internet Usage has grown by 1,239% in the last 20 years and more than 59% of online businesses have witnessed increased digital conversion due to well-structured SEO. And one of the most used words in the SEO sector is backlinks.
Backlinks are important for your online success and involve a variety of activities that are instrumental to the website’s online growth.
What Are Backlinks?
Backlinks are incoming links to a particular webpage. Backlinks represent major metrics determining the ranking of a webpage on the search engines. When a webpage has a lot of backlinks, then it is tended to rank higher in search engines, including Google.
Some of the common terms related to backlinks are:
Link Juice It is generated when a webpage links to any of the articles or website’s homepage, which in return helps in improving the domain authority.
No-Follow Link When the linking of a website to another website has a no-follow tag then there’s no generation of link juice and this link is called a no-follow link. These links are often the outcome of linking to unreliable sites and do not contribute to anything.
Do-Follow Link By default, any links that are added to the website are do-follow links, and these pass link juice.
Low-Quality Link Links that are harvested from spam sites, porn sites, automated sites are considered low-quality links.
Linking Root Domains When several backlinks are coming to your website from a unique domain then they are referred to as Linking Root Domains.
Internal Links The process of linking one page to another within the same domain is called internal linking or interlinking.
Anchor Text It is referred to as the text that is used for hyperlinks. Anchor text backlinks are most effective when you are trying to rank on the search engine for particular keywords.
Well, these are essential aspects of backlinks, and it pays back engaging an expert who brings the right knowledge and best infrastructure to generate the backlinks, which in return boosts the SEO and helps in higher search engine ranking and improved online reputation.
Here are the 3 benefits of Backlinks
Improvement Of Organic Ranking Backlinks are instrumental in giving better search engine rankings. If your content is receiving links from other sites, then that content will organically start to rank higher in the search results. If you are not getting good search engine results, then you need to proactively build backlinks with the help of an expert.
Faster Indexing There are search engine bots that discover new webpages by following backlinks from the existing webpages. An effective crawling of your site on the search engine happens only when the search engine bots have discovered your website. If you don’t have any backlinks, then finding your site will be very difficult by the search engine bots. And the importance of backlinks enhances twofold when you have a new website as they support faster discovery and indexing of your site.
Referral Traffic One of the significant benefits of backlinks is in getting referral traffic. A person who’s reading a blog post often clicks on the given link(s) to know more about the highlighted topic. This is termed as referral traffic. Since the action is voluntary, it’s less likely that the person leaves the page, thereby giving a low bounce rate.
Hope this provides some perspective on why backlinks are pivotal to the effectiveness of SEO. Don’t lose your website traffic and domain authority, partner with us and get the best results in a few weeks.

Junk food has taken over the world with a storm. But it seems that the COVID-19 pandemic will blow the final nail in the coffin that will make the world switch from the junks to practice eating healthier. Coronavirus will indeed impact the eating habits of the world, and there will be a significant shift in food preferences and eating patterns all across the globe.
Last year witnessed a growing trend of eating plant-based staples as many associated health conditions to the meat-based diet. However, there’s no such proof that would authenticate the assumptions. But the food and beverage industry has indeed gradually shown a subtle shift and has started adapting the mock meat and meta alternatives. And the Coronavirus outbreak in China has further escalated the thoughts as people are more interested to know how their food is sourced, prepared and finally delivered.
Covid-19 Food Trends The world had already seen the significant push of industrial animal production and consumption and the rise of the vegan food industry, and now the Coronavirus has impacted the food trends of the year. And here’s what we think will be some of the food trends that will take over the Food and Beverage sector post-COVID-19!
Choosing Commodities One of the notable impacts of this pandemic will be on how we buy our food products, especially commodities. Earlier, few commodities were available as packaged and branded like flour, ghee, tea and rest were purchased loose. Now slowly sugar, ready-made batters, mixes, spices and other food products are being available as packaged products and enticing the customers as they are more hygienic, safety standard maintained and credible. Delivery brands like Amazon, Big Basket, Big Bazaar are also embracing the wave by doing store brands, and branded commodities will be more bought than the loose ones.
Return To Home Cooking Well, the fear of catching infection has hit everybody quite intensely. And this will be a major driver towards food cooked at home. ‘Home-made’ is the new normal ever since the lockdown started and it will continue to do so. While many have started hesitantly and reluctantly, home cooking is a trend now. And thanks to the various trustworthy brands, which help you with ready-made batters, mixes that will make your home cooking easier and healthier. And, well yes, much much safer. Plus, it gives a far better family time.
New Value-added Products Home cooking will give a push to the value-added product’s market. Prime consideration will be given to ready-made batters, ready-made pastes, mixes, that will eliminate the cumbersome task involved in home cooking. These will not only lessen the difficult and tedious task but will also decrease the time-consuming steps.
Chef-Driven Delivery Restaurants While many chef-driven restaurants focused on fine-dining experience before the pandemic, now will venture into the delivery business as takeaways will be the next big thing that people will look forward to. The long term food consumption landscape will change, and delivery business will be the ‘in-thing’. Brands who have transparency, quality and good food and curating a better experience for the customers, including hygiene, safety and packaging will be the front runners of the food delivery sector.
Healthy And Organic Food Demand With hygiene and health being the prime aspects of concern, people will tend to choose organic, fresh grown, preservative-free food more and more. People will be more cautious about the food they eat, and thus, products with immunity-boosting agents will be more in demand. Whole wheat products, organic supplements, preservative-free batters, mixes with organic ingredients will be consumed by the world more and more.
Research is leading to technological innovation, and it is being vigorously promoted as an effective tool in social distancing and contact-less dining and purchasing. Food products and services with a common Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), which will include hygiene checks, well packaging and tech-friendly service will be lauded by people. Food and food habit will be different, and that will be new normal.

Guess what, after taking inputs from few people I got the Multigrain Idly Dosa Batter from a new brand, Rishta Food. The brand punchline says - "Magic with Batter" and they claim to get the most Crispy dosa. The packet also has this message telling - Stone Grind, No Soda, No Preservatives. I especially was keen on trying the Multigrain Dosa that has the goodness of sprouted ragi and brown rice. It's said to be high on dietary fiber and also tastes good. Well, I tried making the dosa by following a little bit of instruction. I was amazed to see the result, as DOSA came out very well. It was so easy to make on the Tawa, it was crispy brown on the outside and soft on the inside. I felt like the DOSA was welcoming me to eat it along with chutney powder and I relished the combination. To be frank, it reminded me of the best dosa I ever had, maybe one that my moms makes or from my favorite darshini. I'm sure when you try it, you can't stop after eating one. Well, it's time for all dosa lovers to try dosa batter from Risha Food.

And thanks should be given to the South Indians who came up with this delicious item of the world. Idli originated in ancient India and it was localized in the past. However, its taste and other aspects made it a Pan India delicacy and soon it became a global food.
While the idea of Idli is watering your mouth, here are the 10 facts about it Idli is amongst the quickly made food items. Idli was invented in 700 CE. The earliest mention of Idli is found in the Kannada writing called Vaddaradhane by Shivakotiacharya in 920 AD. The Kannada king and scholar Someshwara III also included Idli as a recipe in his encyclopaedia, ‘Manasollasa’, written in Sanskrit ca. 1130 A.D. Apart from Rice and Rava, many Indian households prepare Idli with Ragi, various millets or parboiled rice replacing regular white rice for Idlis.
