Hello!I found your Wix website while trying to find inspiration in writing a fanfiction for Disney's Atlantis because I'm rewriting it to fit my personal tastes. I'm very intrigued by your worldbuilding and was wondering if I can use or base some of them for my fanfiction?I will credit you of course,and I don't want to be mistaken for stealing ideas that are not mine. I simply love them and want to know if it's okay to borrow them for the story I will tell. Thanks again in advance!
I had totally forgotten I’ve ever worked on this. It’s certainly been a while since I’ve thought of this bit of worldbuilding I did and then abandoned. Absolutely go ahead. Users of this kind of magic are capable of enhancing their own physical or mental abilities or can manipulate their own bodies to some extent. Within internal magic, there are three (or four) different classes:</p>
 <p style="line-height: 1.4;"><strong>Magic of cognition</strong></p> <blockquote> This magic encompasses a wide range of different abilities, each centered around perception. This ranges from <b>truthseeking</b>, the ability to see through lies and illusions, to <b>telepathy</b>, <b>foresight</b>, <b>dreamwalking</b>, <b>empathy</b>, <b>power sensing</b> and others.   </blockquote>
<p style="line-height: 1.4;"><strong>Magic of the tongue</strong></p> <blockquote> An umbrella term for all spoken magic. The most common types are <b>charmspeaking</b> or persuasion, which can range from gently nudging people into the direction you want to making them kill themselves, <b>animal whispering</b> or therionology, an ability that allows the user to communicate and form a close bond with an animal, and <b>cursing</b>, the art of placing a curse (most commonly misfortune, sickness or even death) on someone.  Magic that falls into this category is the most subtle, and often goes completely unnoticed. </blockquote>
<p style="line-height: 1.4;"><strong>Magic of the body</strong></p> <blockquote> Any vein of magic that affects one’s body falls under this category. The most common are <b>enhancing</b> all five of the <b>senses</b> and one’s <b>physical capabilities</b>, such as agility, strength, wound healing or sense of balance. A few conductors are capable of duplicating themselves, but with each copy, they have less and less magic at their disposal, as it is used to create and power their clones.</blockquote>
<p style="line-height: 1.4;"><strong>Shapeshifting</strong></p> <blockquote>A special kind of magic is <b>shapeshifting</b>. Usually, conductors with this gift are capable of altering some of their physical features to resemble that of a specific animal’s. As bodies too consist of magic, forming one’s body as desired is possible. Through training or natural talent, conductors can even transform completely into their specific animal. Others are capable of changing into other human beings.<br> Animal shapeshifters sometimes have characteristics specific to their animal - someone who can shift into a wolf might growl when threatening someone. There is also a great risk of being unable to transform back into their original form, as there is with someone who merges with their respective element. </blockquote>

<h1 style="font-size: 16px; color: #040508; font-weight: normal; text-transform: uppercase; padding: 10px; text-align: center;">External magic</h1> <p style="line-height: 1.4; text-align: center;"><span>Also known as <i>magic on others / the world</i>, <b>external magic</b> allows users to manipulate and influence the world around them. There are three different veins of external magic - <i>negative magic</i>, <i>positive magic</i> and <i>neutral magic</i>:</p> 
<p style="line-height: 1.4;"><strong>Negative magic</strong></p> <blockquote>
This vein of magic works through taking magic from an outside source (an object, nature, animals or humans) and using it for one’s own benefit. Usually, this results in the ‘victim’ feeling weak, tired or even sick (plants slowly wither and animals might die from the sudden loss of energy), but through time and rest, they are able to recover. However, there is a sub-group of conductors called the <b>Dhaiallr</b> or <i>thieves</i>, who are trained in permanently taking someone’s magic, leaving them as empty shells that are used as obedient and servile labourers. Some can also nullify the powers of other conductors for a short amount of time.</blockquote>
<p style="line-height: 1.4;"><strong>Positive magic</strong></p> <blockquote>
Whereas negative magic takes someone or something else’s energy, positive magic <i>gives</i> magic away. Positive magic serves as an umbrella term for several types of magic, the most common being:
<ul>
<li><b>enchantment</b>: the process of inscibing magical runes on items, adding certain effects to them <li><b>animation</b>: giving life or special magical properties to things, drawings or even written words by infusing them with magic. through animation, the��weashdas were created - statues brought to life which serve as guardians. in theory, one could change the world’s rules with the help of magical words, but it is deemed impossible. <li><b>healing</b>: restoring someone else’s health by transferring parts of one’s own magic to them. can range from healing minor wounds such as cuts, bruises and burns to restoring missing limbs. the more complicated and difficult the process of healing, the more magic the conductor has to give away <li><b>power bestowal</b>: giving someone else additional powers temporarily; the conductor takes someone else’s ability and bestows them upon another for a short amount of time <li><b>force field creation</b>: concentrating magic on one spot, creating an invisible shield that protects from harm <li><b>necromancy</b>: bringing the dead back to life by reanimating their bodies with magic. </ul></blockquote>
<p style="line-height: 1.4;"><strong>Neutral magic</strong></p> <blockquote>
Neutral magic means manipulating the energy structure of an object, person or the general environment while the overall energy balance stays the same. The most common gifts are:
<ul>
<li> <b>telekinesis</b>: pushing or pulling on an object’s magic, allowing the conductor to move it around through their will <li> <b>transfiguration</b>: the alteration of the form or appearance of an object by reshaping the magic within <li><b>illusion</b>: controlling the magic flow of a target's cerebral nervous system; affecting their five senses, creating false images and tricking the body into believing its has experienced physical pain <li> <b>intangibility</b>: passing through physical matter by manipulating the object’s and one’s own density
<li><b>teleportation</b>: moving magic from one point to another, thus teleporting the body
<li><b>time manipulation</b>: slowing down or speeding up time for either an object, person, or a whole area. </ul>
A very powerful kind of neutral magic is <b>elemental magic</b>.</blockquote>
<p><b>Elemental magic</b></p> <blockquote><p>Besides the manipulation of the four main elements <b>fire</b>, <b>water</b>, <b>earth</b> and <b>air</b>, there are five more types of elemental magic: <b>sound</b>, <b>lightning</b>, <b>light</b>, <b>shadow</b> and <b>technology</b>. It is important to note that elemental magic is closely connected to the user’s emotional state, especially if they are inexperienced. Through training, conductors with an elemental power can merge with their element, e.g. a shadow conductor can become one with shadows, or an air conductor can turn their body into wind. While it is already difficult to do that - dissolve one’s body and reshape it - it’s nothing compared to <i>turning back</i>. Many conductors have gone missing because after they transformed, they were unable to return to their original shape.</p>

<p style="line-height: 1.4; text-align: center;"><span><b>1.</b> It is impossible to have more than one gift. Magic isn’t something you learn, but rather something you are born with. As such, a conductor capable of controlling fire cannot learn how to read minds.</p>
<p style="line-height: 1.4; text-align: center;"><span> <b>2.</b> No magic is ever exactly alike in every detail, even magic that belongs to the same category.</p>
<p style="line-height: 1.4; text-align: center;"><span> <b>3.</b> Even though magic is hereditary to some extent, it is possible that someone with no conductors in their bloodline displays powers, just like the child of two conductors can be an ordinary human.</p> 
<p style="line-height: 1.4; text-align: center;"><span> <b>4.</b> Magic cannot <i>create</i> something out of nothing. In order to work magic, one has to manipulate the energy that is there, present in everything that exists, and reshape it. Just like other types of energy, magic cannot be created or destroyed.</p>
