Well what a year! Can’t believe all the things that have happened since Covid hit our world. I also can’t believe that 2021 is almost over. It’s definitely been a grind and another year of rolling with the punches to make this business work. . What a cool way to wrap stuff up for the year and get a call from the Mountain News and get a write up about what we do. It’s always an honor to get a shout out on something we built straight out of our garage in Christmas Valley. We have put so much energy and thought in everything we have done, since day 1. . As we go into year 15 of this ever evolving business. I’ve learned to always roll with the punches, and be real to people. Honesty and being up front will get you a long way. I’m looking forward to another great year in our business and in Lake Tahoe. Our community is what makes this all so rad! 10 years ago We were working out of our garage, printing St. Patty’s day shirts for a bar in the middle of the night. Feeling pretty thankful these days. 😎 . We have been fortunate enough to upgrade some embroidery equipment in our shop this month. It’s been a crazy year, but we have kept our heads down and been working super hard, pushing through. When the pandemic hit, we didn’t know what to do, so we started the “Tahoe is my Happy Place” project and gave back to the community by creating free art. To say the least, it was a success and kept our minds in the right direction during a time of confusion and unknown. We literally had paper covering our windows at the shop since we were supposed to be closed and sitting at home. We would come to work on time, and draw all day creating pieces of our for fellow business owners in town. After the air cleared a little bit, the presses started spinning again and we haven’t stopped since. We are truly thankful for all the support we have gotten and continue to get. Mike and I have been friends and business partners for over 13 years. We both feel this is a huge accomplishment and couldn’t be here without the support of our fans and community. I could go on for days telling stories about our adventures, but I’ll spare you right now. I really just wanted to reach out and say Thank You and that we are thankful for where we are and the support we have gotten since day one of Rise Designs. We feel so lucky to be able to do what we do!
