Traditional arte povera and gender art I made for an assignment, used my body and wall paint.

-the blue body on the left represents a typically masculine or "man's" body

-the pink body on the right represents a typically feminine or "woman's" body

The blue body on the left represents a typically masculine or "man's" body.

The pink body on the right represents a typically feminine or "woman's" body.

The blue and pink bodies represent people with gender and/or sexual dysphoria or represent bodies that have already gone through physical transition and now their sexual characteristics are of the opposite sex, in general they represent parts of the body that "do not correspond" to the birth sex, whether physically, psychologically or socially.

And the white and pink bodies in the middle represent getting out of the binary of gender and sex and for those reasons the genitals "do not match" the chest, and the white ones also represent the absence of gender/ that gender is more of a social construct, and that your sex and/or gender do not define or should not define how society treats you based on your sex/gender or how much respect you deserve as a person for it.
