ive been playing around with love as a concept cuz I think its funny

like tbh I don't understand love or loss or anything because I've never felt anything like it

like yeah I love my mom but also it's kind of like there's no specific emotion I feel for love and I think it's kind of beautiful

"I love you so much I can't explain " kind of thing

I might draw a little comic with two of my ocs (Law and Life) because they have this weird relationship where they're teetering on the edge of love and platonicicity (is that a word lmao) and that's the kind of love I've felt for people

To be honest when Law thinks of love she only think of the downsides because when someone she "loves" dies, how is she supposed to feel? Being sad won't bring them back, but neither will moving on, so why not sulk and cry and give up? It's these things that make her afraid of intimacy and trusting someone with all her emotions

On the other hand life is in a perpetual state of lobe with everything that breathes and lives and exists because everything is so wondrous and even if she's a literal god, everything on earth just manages to surprise her everyday. She planted the seeds and now she's watching the plants flower and bloom into millions of spectacular arrays of flowers and it's just wonderful, but how is she supposed to love someone when she loves everything equally? What makes law special to her? Her looks? Her mannerisms? Her status? Life struggles with these questions just as I do
