Summary:

vampire!randy/werewolf!benson au. “What?” Benson mumbled, still smirking. The kid didn’t answer. Just kept smiling, gentle and calm. He closed the distance between them, fingers brushing Benson’s chest like he was memorizing the shape of him. Benson tilted his head slightly, eyes half-lidded, expecting a kiss. That would’ve made sense. That would’ve been the story. Instead, the kid leaned in too far, breath fanning over Benson’s jaw, then his neck. And then— A sharp, wet pain, sudden and deep. Benson jerked. It was instinct, primal, but the kid was already wrapped around him, stronger than he should’ve been. His arms weren’t gentle now. They were holding Benson in place, pressing him back against the brick wall. Something pierced deep into his neck, and the warmth that flooded out wasn’t lust. It was blood.

ohh I’ve got so many!!

If Randy transitions pre-canon:

• I picture her with choppy layers in her hair, like baby scene hair. She pins her bangs back with clips though. But she hatessss putting her hair in ponytails.

• I’m so on board with her name being Randy Avery Bradley, and a cute little nickname being Ava bc of her middle. BUT the only person that calls her that is Haley.

• Randy has her own girly wardrobe but she steals Haley’s clothes anyways. Wearing her little sisters shirts as baby tees!

• She’s *not* a makeup girly. At most she’s trying lipgloss and chapstick. She hates the way she looks in mascara and eyeshadow and her mom thinks it’s “trashy.” (Mrs Bradley is supportive but if shes gonna have a daughter she wants her to be a good girl!)

• Randy loves the color purple. This is true for every Randy in my brain but tgirl Randy is wearing purple undies and socks every day of her life. She’s got purple bedsheets and purple seat covers in her car.

• Her transition woulda started pretty young because she was in so much therapy after the Miss Beard incident that it came up then. Randy has a really complicated relationship with her gender though and feels like she’s not “worthy” of her femininity because of what she did when she was younger. She ends up overcompensating a little and trying to be this like, pure feminine sexless creature wrapped in pink rather than just existing comfortably.

• She’s also stealth at work. Nobody knows she’s *the* Randy Bradley because they call her Miranda (which is what Randy is short for) at work. Nothing is really different from how she’s treated in canon.

• Tgirl Randy is soooo My Melody and My Sweet Piano coded <3

• The paranoia/health ocd surrounding her shots on going on E makes is soooo intense. Poor girl is terrified of getting infected needle sites, going in the wrong spot, being given bad needles. Plus they briefed negative side effects and she’s convinced every single one *will* happen to her. It makes her also a little obsessive about passing and she will stare in the mirror and pick apart her own mannerisms and her face for hours. :(

• She likes jewelry, anything shiny she wants to grab at it. She’s gets insanely jealous of people with piercings. She wants like a billion in each ear and her nose done. (Tfem Benson to me has facial dermals!! by her eye/cheekbone area and one of her dimples! Randy wants her and her piercings sooooo bad)

• Randy LOVES fuzzy things. Fuzzy socks, a little fuzzy carpet in her room, fuzzy plushies and clothes. Bensons sweater is her goddamn dream come true

• GIVE HER MY LITTLE PONIES AND MY PRETTY KITTYS AND FLUPPY DOGS AND A BELOVED BABY DOLL!! Even though she transitioned young she didn’t have a lot of girl childhood experiences because she was also like deeply traumatized at the time. But she’s older and has her own money and she’s using it all to become a collector of popular “girl” toys from when she was little.

• Because of the last point she uses really sweet perfume and always smells like a cabbage patch doll or bubblegum or cotton candy

• Haley and Randy would play princesses when they were younger and Randy always always dreamed of going to prom in a big poofy Cinderella dress. She did not get to go (school rules plus she didn’t have anybody to go with) and it broke her heart. Trying on her mom’s wedding dress would change her life.

• She still dated Lisa! Learning she was allowed to kiss girls as a girl. Formative experience. Getting her hair done and having sleepovers and painting each others nails (even if she always chewed all the polish off). It was so teeny bopper stereotypical but it made her so happy. She did care when Lisa lost touch!!

If Randy didn’t transition until post-canon though:

• The difference between starting to feel herself out and find her taste when she’s back home versus when she’s with Benson. Would be massively different. On the road, I think she’d skip the phase of trying to be as girly as possible and slowly ease into it instead. Light buying slip dress and a hippie skirt in the mix with their thrift finds and praying Benson doesn’t say a word.

• Her style would be very very fitting of the time. She wants to look like Avril Lavigne. She wants to look like Paris Hilton. She’s wearing cutesy tank tops and flare jeans and long sleeve undershirts and a billion accessories. Hats, gloves, sleevies, scarves, high socks. Randy becomes a little thief to fuel her fashion sense. She has a huge Tinkerbell purse she shoves things into. Including her first eyeliner pencil. Her makeup taste is very much smudging stuff on. And she loves glitter

• To get her access to E on the road they’re pulling all kinds of wild shit and trying to give her over the counter medicines and vitamins, asking back alley for stuff. Randy is half convinced Benson is going to accidentally poison her.

• She wants a tattoo so goddamn bad. Stars and birds and swirls and butterflies all look so pretty and girly to her. She wants finger tats and one on her hip and IS willing to let Benson do it for her <3 Same for a belly button piercing <3

• Randy would so be the girl who wore her bf’s name on a necklace if they could find one.

• Keychain hoarder!! There’s a spare key for the Chrysler that Benson gives her (basically an engagement ring for him) and she decorates them with so many keychains they don’t fit in her pocket askfskflalfla

• Her hair gets *excessively* long. They do not cut it ever, she looks like a wild animal or a mermaid and loves it that way. She likes braiding feathers and beads and ornaments and wraps into her hair.

• Benson is cool about her transitioning, like he’s quick on picking up her pronouns, he’s walked around in queer spaces plenty to have a handle on it. But Randy is so fucking scared. Like bringing it up at all makes her sweat through her shirt. *Benson* probably brings it up first.

• Her ass is NOT wearing high heels ever. She tries maybe once to walk from one end of the aisle at the thrift store to the other and eats concrete so hard she needs stitches in her face. Never again. Shes too clumsy for all that.

Not a headcanon buuuut you’ll probably be pleased to know my next fic is all about tgirl Randy <3 it’ll be going up (with warnings!) in a couple days <3 ty worm <3 u
