okay but it actually makes so much sense cuz in season 7 after the thing with virginia when rick said he’d like to hang out with unity, the first thing he said to encourage her was “come see the kids”. this is literally real

unity would fuel morty’s mommy issues sooo much. i picture him getting flustered around her and rick makes joke about freud being right and turning in his grave but he’s not really one who should talk when he’s also fucking morty. maybe after a particularly long day of school, morty looks for rick in the garage and finds unity in his place. rick’s on a quick trip, he’ll be back in just an hour. maybe less. and morty sighs and unity smiles at him and leads him to the living room, asks him what’s upsetting him so much, and morty just bursts into tears because his real mom would never ask how his day went. and maybe when rick finally gets home, he finds morty face deep in unity’s chest, and he almost jumps, before realizing that morty’s breastfeeding, and that hones in an innocence that could make even rick melt. he seats himself down next to both of them and rubs morty’s back, kisses unity on the cheek…. he’s like their baby, almost
