Kiba was surprised, not having been expecting to feel the other’s soft lips on his cheek, instantly making the untattooed parts of his skin burn bright with an embarrassed redness. It was pathetic, Kiba trying to be the tough guy to impress Rin though it obviously was not working given that everything the red head did seemed to effect the Inuzuka in the most pathetic of ways. He was a second away before trying to turn his face to catch Rin’s lips but refrained from doing so, he didn’t want to ruin anything by being a forceful asshole.
Still, the fact that Rin wanted to go home now was a lot less comforting as he was afraid that he hadn’t given him a good date. It was a little simple he had to admit but it could have been a lot better but at the same time… oh, Rin had to work the next day meaning he date hadn’t been bad and he actually just needed to get some sleep.
“If you want I can give you a lift back. You didn’t drive here, right?” Kiba asked, not sure if he had seen Rin next to a car or not. He liked the idea of finishing the date by dropping Rin off at his home as there seemed to be something sweet about the idea. Of course he wouldn’t go into the house or anything, just drive Rin home and ask if he wanted to do it again sometime. “I mean you don’t have to but I don’t like the idea of such a handsome guy out on his own now that it’s getting late.”
Was he flirting? It felt like he was flirting which he was more than happy to do, only hoping that Rin wasn’t thinking that Kiba was trying to make a move on him so aggressively. He wanted to be good and a proper gentleman, smiling and hoping that by now the blush on his face had disappeared.
Waiter!AU.
"I don’t really think that it’s supposed to be anybody’s type of movie. I mean, it isn’t supposed to be taken seriously. Or, maybe it is…and it’s just so bad that that’s what makes it good. You know? It was pretty hilarious. Especially when the guy with the chainsaw arm tried killing the shark as it flew towards him." He laughed at the memory, a deep yet still light laugh that had always made girls blush, as he crossed his arms behind his head. "I don’t know, I’m still more of a Jaws guy. Deep Blue Sea. All that stuff." As if that wasn’t stereotypical.
Hearing the other’s short comment, he looked over at the other, noticing that cocky grin across those tanned features. For a moment, it took him a second to realize what the other was talking about. He had been so engrossed in the film that he hadn’t even thought about the conversation prior to, yet alone making out - though he doubted the couple in front of them had had the same pure mind. Especially when they snuck out of the theater, probably to go and find more interesting things - or people - to do.
"You’re right. You did." He smirked over at the other male, before leaning over casually, and finally pecking the other gently on the cheek, before pulling back with an equally confident grin. "And that’s your prize. I suppose you deserved a kiss, for not thinking about kissing." Though of course a cheek peck hardly counted as a real kiss, but then again, he wasn’t that type of guy. He didn’t kiss on the first date - that was a past that he had left far behind with Australia.
Tilting his head innocently enough, his eyes looked over to the male, and he raised an eyebrow. “It’s getting late. I should probably head back, considering I work the morning shift tomorrow.” Not that he wanted to leave. It was simply obvious, in his teasing tone, that he was playing hard to get. He didn’t want to ask Kiba to hang out longer, because that seemed desperate. No, if he left now, Kiba might ask him for a second date. He’d wait a few days before going, of course. Let the brunette miss him a little bit before showing up. He was almost as bad as a girl in that sense.

His smirk was only growing larger whenever the other got riled up, his buttons being pushed so easily even if Kiba couldn’t even recall all the information. It was enough to work for him though, a thin smile stretching his lips in delight.
“You think you can take advantage of me?” Kiba asked, noting the other’s words and loving that smirk. The playfulness of the other was something that Kiba liked, not having really realised that there was a sexual nature behind it. “Then come on… take advantage. Sway me…”

“Man… you have any idea how stuffy these things are?” Kiba asked, despite the fact that Naruto was standing in the exact same metal box he was in. One hand was roughly pulling at the collar of his shirt, as if to help himself cool down from the unexistant heat while a single finger was pressing against the emergency button.
He didn’t want to seem weak but god damn he hated this. The tight quarters, the hotness pulling at his skin and making him sweat. The button didn’t seem to be working, the lights having turned off to so it must have just been something wrong with the power.
“Do the brakes run on electricity? You know how these things work? We should ‘ve stuck with the others,” Kiba continued to mutter, thinking of the rest of the class having already gone down to the lobby. “Is it hot? It feels hot? Is it just me? Why isn’t this button working?”

Well that was an interesting piece of information to find out, Kiba could have sworn that Naruto had said that he had a few drinks that first night but then again… his hand had never actually been holding a can or bottle of any kind. Cheeky little bastard. Then again that meant another thing entirely, something that made his lips pull up into a giant smirk.
“You totally took advantage of me,” Kiba laughed, knowing that wasn’t the case but he could not help but tease Naruto slightly. It was obvious at first that during their… whatever it was they had been doing… Kiba was a little less than tolerable the morning after but it was undeniable that he had grown from that person.

Kiba was admittedly a little curious as to what had Bolin grinning so happily but he decided it was just because they were at the noodle house. It had been such a long and exhausting day, the match not helping at all, that a wind down was definitely needed. He was happy that his Captain was so care free, not wanting to be stuck eating healthy greens and avoiding good food so that his training would be better. They were good with their current methods, not needing any sort of diet kicks to help them.
“I left Akamaru with my ma this week,” Kiba replied, smiling fondly when he recalled his pure blooded hound… so rare to have a pure animal. “So no. I don’t have to be anywhere.”
The waiter came along and set the three large bowls on the table, not even hesitating to put two bowls in front of Bolin. Kiba couldn’t help but have a little fun, due to the fact that the dish had so much water he easily used his bending with his hands under the table, moving the liquid away from Bolin’s spoon whenever he tried to get a scoop.
Bo just nodded his head to each question Kiba gave him. A huge grin staying present the entire time. When the waiter came by to take their order Bolin let Kiba order first, but then again he always did. He had ordered his standard noodles, two bowls of it in fact, and that was all. Having his dish be fancy was never something Bo liked to do, but he did take part in some of the meats that Kiba usually got.
While waiting for their order Bolin pressed his thumbs together continuously and kept his glances at the other, “So, you got any plans after we eat? I know I don’t have anything for the rest of the night—” He was hoping for the others answer to be no. All the earthbender wanted to do was spend time with the waterbender right now.
The feelings that were inside Bolin were finally starting to grow a little.

The Inuzuka cracked a wolfish grin at the other’s reactions and expression in all, enjoying the shocked look and the surprised gasp. He couldn’t have asked for anything better as he squeezed the cheek a couple more times before letting go and stepped back again. If that had been Samui… or even Ino for that matter… he would have been hit but Naruto was different. He wondered if it would be the same deal if the guy was a girl but that picture just hurt his head.
“You’re not so bad,” Kiba commented, something that he shouldn’t actually need to say as they were on friendly enough terms. “I mean… no offense but since school started up we’ve only really hung out when we’re drunk.” Or when Kiba was drunk. “Sober is actually sort of nice.”
It wasn’t like he had a problem, he was just a teenager who enjoyed himself too much. Food… Sport… Drink… Sex… He loved it all and couldn’t get enough.

“I didn’t say any of that,” Kiba shot back all of a sudden, huffing like a child rather than an angry jock. He usually would appear more intimidating but it obviously wasn’t the case when he was formerly whimpering on the floor, his hands still griping each other tightly.
Then again he hadn’t not said any of that. As he recalled Naruto had been quite good with his mouth, enjoying it almost as much as the actual sex they had together. He did wonder if he liked it so much because of those damn eyes looking up at him though it was even better when he got to stare down at the face scrunched up in what he hoped was pleasure.
“Hmm,” he hummed to himself, stepping across the room and reaching behind Naruto to give his rear a squeeze. For some reason he took notice that he had never actually see Naruto’s dick, usually because he only ever bothered to pull the back of Naruto’s pants down. “Okay… still as good as I remember.”

Kiba wasn’t ignoring Bolin, grinning widely whenever he heard just about anything from the Earthbender. He had to reread an item on the menu three times because of Bolin, but then he realised that what he was looking at didn’t sound particularly appetising anyway. He wanted to stay away from any meat product which had the word ‘bat’ in the animals name.
“I guess you just know what you like, right?” Kiba asked, eyes peering up for a few moments before he smiled and moved back down to the beefier section of the menu… not that it had anything to do with Bolin. “I guess I’m just a little bit more picky... But I guess when you get down to it, it’s all just noodles, right?”
When the waiter did come, Kiba ordered one of the basic dishes with plenty of meat he could scoff down. The noodles weren’t so bad either, but he knew if he got full he could pass them off to Bolin… he hoped. Didn’t want to waste food after all.
Bo stumbled over his own feet as Kiba dragged him into the noodle shop, a light laugh escaping him as he did so. The earthbender practically fell into his chair as his laughter continued, “What’s got you in such a hurry now?” He asked teasingly as the other took the seat across from him.
As Bo reached for the only menu at their table Kiba quickly snatched it up for under his finger tips. Bo’s jaw dropped a little bit offended, but it soon turned into a smile. “Well, it’s not like I don’t get the same thing here anyway—” His hand waving off the menu with his statement, the smile staying in its place. It was kind of strange for the earthbender to explain what he was feeling right now, and Kiba’s playful attitude tonight was not helping this feeling.
Rubbing his thumbs together he waited for the waiter to come over so that they could order. He was starving, but there were some butterflies forming in his stomach for some odd reason— why would he be nervous to hang out with his own teammate that he sees almost everyday? He just couldn’t explain it. His gaze constantly going from his thumbs to the other.

He knew he wasn’t a smart guy, not totally but it wasn’t as if he was a dumbass… neither was Naruto most of the time but the blonde hair didn’t help the reputation. Besides, Kiba was excelling at sports and the more said about his good looks the better in his opinion. Sure he was a little vain but with good reason.
“I don’t’ fuck guys behind he back I fucked a guy behind her back… and it wasn’t like I did it a lot,” Kiba reasoned, his explanation not exactly being the best. As he was being distracted he picked himself up from the ground, standing across the elevator from Naruto. “I mean… what… twice? Was there more?”
It was difficult to tell, what with the fact he was usually drunk by the time he was with Naruto but he remembered some very good orgasms. He shrugged, not noticing the other’s flirting. “I guess you’re just better than Ino.”

By the end of the movie Kiba was left very confused, the entire situation the movie was dealing with made no sense. Of course that was to be expected but still, he had no idea what to say other than the fact that he could not be more confused. It wasn’t just about the movie itself but he was actually left wondering how and why such a movie was created as he wondered why anyone would find it interesting enough to endorse.
His mind snapped back into attention as Rin was speaking, the Inuzuka turning his head slightly and smiling over at the crimson haired waiter. Well, he was glad that Rin had enjoyed it at least so that meant no money was wasted. As long as Rin had a nice time than Kiba was happy to have come along especially since the other male stated he didn’t get out too much.
“I guess it wasn’t totally bad. Not really my type of movie though.” He had to be honest, seeing that the other liked sharks but not wanting to lie about him. Lying was what got people into trouble in any case and he had the feeling if they were to remain friends based on that Kiba would have to go through a lot of shark based movies…
Another thought came to mind though, Kiba smiling as he leaned back in his seat and slurped away at the rest of his drink. He had managed to win the little bet they had between each other though now he wondered why he hadn’t bet anything. For the entire movie he had managed to avoid asking Rin to make out with him and it was a good thing… but now it was once again all he had in his head.
“I won,” Kiba winked, a confident grin on his lips now well placed. He wasn’t sure if Rin even remembered but if he didn’t than Kiba had no problem in telling him… even if it would be a little bit annoying.
Waiter!AU.
Rin obviously wasn’t stupid. In fact, he was one of the smartest in his class at Samezuka, always being naturally intelligent and not just a naturally talented swimmer. He knew precisely that Sharknado was supposed to be a complete hoax. One of the stupidest movies ever made. After all, how could a movie about a tornado that consisted of sharks possibly be decent…? Then again, it must have been. The ‘Sharknado craze’ had practically swept the nation, and everyone seemed to be in love with the B movie.
No, Rin was simply excited because, surprise surprise, he loved sharks. More than anything. They were his favorite animal. Jaws was his favorite movie. So, it was no surprise that he was actually excited for this. As the other snuck his hand underneath his arm, he blinked, pouting a little as the other stole some of his popcorn. “Don’t you have your own?” He nodded towards the male - who had of course gotten a soda and popcorn - before rolling his eyes and looking back towards the film. Rin was sometimes bad at understanding when someone was simply trying to flirt with him.
The movie went on, and it was just about as horrible as everyone said it would be. Yet, Rin couldn’t help but to laugh frequently throughout it - it was a long time since Rin had last laughed. He found the movie quite hilarious, bringing his hand to his mouth to hide a grin every so often for fear of being obnoxious to the other couple in front of them. Though he noticed halfway through the movie that the other couple had literally gotten up and left. Who could leave during this? This was priceless!
Finally the credits were rolling, and Rin was leaning back in his seat, cracking his back. “You know, that really wasn’t half bad…” He muttered, eyes still wide with excitement like a child in a candy store. He grinned a toothy grin, looking over at his date, before nudging him gently. “Did you like it? Really, thanks for bringing me. I don’t know if I would’ve come otherwise. I don’t get out much, other than work and swim practice.” Because that was basically his whole life. Going out for once, with a cute guy, it was rather nice.

He definitely noticed the blush, looking over and seeing the redness of the Earthbender’s cheeks. Though he did not say anything, if he wished to embarrass Bolin that could come when they were inside or maybe after their meal, Kiba’s manners weren’t the best at the table but at times he could be a debonair compared to Bolin. It was good to have a guy like Bolin around, a rough and tough type who was an utter dork with a heart of gold. Almost too cute to stomach for Kiba.
“Man, it’s like heaven,” Kiba agreed, almost moaning as his shoulders bumped down slightly from the other’s heavy arm. There was no point in them standing outside though and since Bolin wasn’t taking any steps Kiba took it upon himself to drag the other in.
The table at the front was clear so Kiba found it easy to release the other from his grip and drop him into the chair. The Waterbender occupied the one across from him, smiling cockily as he grabbed the one menu on the table. There did seem to be something different and it wasn’t the fact that it was just the two of them… the Firebender never stuck around much, Kiba wondering what it would have been like if Bolin’s brother was still on the team.
The sudden bump to his arm and then being pulled back by the other caught Bolin a little off guard. Though, it wasn’t a hard feet to accomplish. Looking at the other up close in personal Bo couldn’t stop a slight blush forming on his cheeks. 'W-what—' He thought to himself before returning the smile.
He then almost forgot to return the statement as he was lost in his own head. “I-I’m not worrying about anything—” Why was he stuttering all of a sudden? It was like Kiba had thrown off Bo’s entire persona, not that he didn’t mind it. Breaking the gaze of one another Bo looked up to see that they’d just arrived at the noodle shop.
He then swung his arm around the others shoulder as well and held him close to his side, “Smells good, doesn’t it?” Bo couldn’t wait to get inside and chow down. This had been a regular thing for the two of them, but this time felt kind of different. A good kind of different.

Kiba rose a single brow in surprise, forgetting his surroundings and looking over at Naruto. He was amused, not having expected to learn that little fact and he could not even help but laugh slightly in surprise. Samui died her hair? He hadn’t known that but it kind of made sense.
“Blondes are a lot dumber…” Kiba commented, not caring that Naruto was standing right beside him. What did he care if he offended the other male? If Naruto didn’t want to be called stupid then he shouldn’t act like it sometimes… act like Kiba in a sense.
In any case he realised the other’s next question. He didn’t even need to think of it, the pair agreeing on it more or less.
“She’s gotten sick and tired of me, says I’m not one hundred percent into it. Total shit, you know?”

Now that he thought about it he was always the one to end up paying for the noodle shop and despite how Kiba usually was he didn’t mind it so much. Maybe if he was able to teach Bolin something things would be reversed but in their weird Earth to Water teaching method Bolin was always the trainer. Kiba didn’t mind so much though, having an unique insight to the two bendings that one didn’t usually get to see.
However as they walked he couldn’t help but notice the jerky motions of the other’s gaze, dashing about trying to find something… anything… to talk about. It was slightly amusing to watch but he supposed he shouldn’t let Bolin worry away as they walked.
Casually he bumped into Bolin’s side, slinging an arm around the Earth Bender’s neck and pulling him down slightly. Man he hated how cute the bastard was.
“Stop worrying your pretty little head, Captain,” Kiba said, a teasing grin showing off his teeth.
Bo didn’t waste much time as he changed into his standard attire, a green shirt with his jacket pulling over it, and his pants keeping everything tucked in. Bolin always had a habit of checking if his zipper was up since he’d been caught more than once with it down.
With everything in check he turned around with big grin hearing that Kiba was gonna pay for their dinner tonight, “That sounds like a fair trade to me!” With that the two of them ready to go they were off to the noodle shop.
It was the in between time like this that Bo never really knew what to say, so instead he always looked around at his surroundings hoping he’d find something to point out or that the person he was with would strike up a conversation of some sort.
