I dislike Catherine. Reason being:
the first season, one of the first episodes, she told a man that his wife dead wife cheated on him. that husband killed the man the wife on him with, because he thought that the man killed his wife. turns out his wife's death was an accident. why wasn't Catherine suspended for that?
Grissom was a supervisor and leader for 8 seasons before he quit. Catherine was only a supervisor for only 4 seasons (8-12) befor ethey forced her to step down and give the job to DB. Speaks volume about her as a CSI / leader, huh? (Only after she stepped down did they offer her the job as an FBI agent. so for me, she was still forced to step down.) And I love it during season 5 after they gve her the job as swing shift supervisor, she asked Nick "what, you're tired of working with me?" and Nick just said "Whatever." Yes. He is tired of working with her. Never wanting to admit that she is wrong.
Her relationship with Sam Braun, her dad? It can jeorpadize the entire lab and LVPD. But won't admit that. If someone else did it, she would've bitch about it.
She actually scared her daughter by showing her a dead corpse and when Dr. Robbins asked "Ever noticed that childhood's getting shorter and shorter? Whose fault is that?" and she said "I don't know." I'm not a mom and I answered "The Parents'." But she didn't know the answer? She didn't know, or she didn't want to admit that she was at fault?
I never liked her ever since she said to Nick on the first season "He's not always right." Clearly, he was always right. I was so happy when one of the new CSIs departed, and before she did she literally wrote a letter on how Catherine's leadership was basically sh*t. I clapped everytime that episode plays.
I mean, I like Ecklie even better than her. She's just crap at everything.
