This is in interest check only!
I am considering doing some more commissioned paintings with Artemis, and/or selling some prints of her original works.
The prints pictured are 4x5 and 8x10, and the original artworks were 16x20 (which can be done as a print size too). Prints would bo glossy photographic prints and probably range from $3-25 + shipping, depending on size. These PROBABLY won’t ship before Christmas but if you absolutely do want one and for christmas and can respond back and forth quickly I can probably make that happen.
The commissions for original works would probably be offered for $100 flat fee regardless of colors + the price of the canvas for the painting, but unlike the trial run, you would get to choose the canvas size (providing I am able to find it to buy). Shipping would be a flat $15 in the continental US (this covers shipping, plus materials used for packaging), but like before I am willing to ship anywhere if you want to pay exact for it. Each commission would come “signed” by one of Artemis’ feathers, with a photo of her standing beside it after it she has finished it, and (if I am able to get them to print again) with an “authenticity” card similar to the ones above, with info about the painting/painter and a number unique to the run. It would likely be another closed run, with 10 slots. Payment would be due up front and is refundable until the painting is started. These would NOT be ready to ship before christmas, they would not ship until next year.
I would like to gauge interest in both of these things, so if you think you might want to get one of these (even if you’re not sure, but are interested), please let me know by December 19th (2020) via ask or message on tumblr, or you can message me on discord at Kedreeva#4912, or contact my gmail at ItamashiiSparkle.
If you’re not interested or can’t right now, any passing-along of this post would still be appreciated!

Are you guys following what's going on in Milwaukee? It's happening right now, June 23/24 depending on where you live!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are conflicting reports about who set the house and van on fire, some say it was the police to cover up evidence, some that the neighbors did it.
Tumblr media
But people managed to recover tons of documents from the house before it burned down and already one of the people mentioned in them was identified as a register sex offender! The house is also allegedly registered to a member of the clergy?

If any of yall are interested in amateur gardening, check out my plant blog! Spring is finally happening, and over the next month and a half ill be able to start posting again.
AND WE ARE BACK
Tumblr media
Starting with a lil surprise. Walmart has started opening up its garden center, and when i was checking out the pollinator packs/other bulbs and root packs, i found this guy already making a head start. It is a purple Clemantis, and it is a vine. I wasnt planning on potting/planting anything until closer to May, but i figured id give this guy the chance she deserved.
Tumblr media
Hopefully the cat doesn't eat it.

Etsy is somehow being even worse, do not click etsy ads
Etsy is now forcing shop owners to be part of their ads. We can not opt out.
To anyone who buys from etsy: DO NOT EVER CLICK THEIR ADS
They are rolling out a program where if you get a sale from an ad they put out, they’re taking 12-15% of the profit(probably on top of the like, 5%ish+ they already take). Even worse, if you have clicked an Etsy ad in the last 30 days ANYONE YOU BUY FROM ON ETSY IN THAT PERIOD WILL BE BILLED THAT FEE.
So please, if you see an ad for something you like off etsy, do not click it. Just go on etsy and search for it.
This is somehow worse than what storenvy used to pull.
Please go directly through an artist or see if they have their own storefront (I use bigcartel) instead of purchasing off etsy. And if you must, just please, please, never click an etsy ad.

The curse of not being able to appreciate your own work, which almost everyone suffers from. Also probably worrying too much about comparing yourself to others. Everyones work is unique and should be viewed that way. Its true there are some skills that its possible to perfect in a measurable way, but its also just as true that everyone has different styles and methods, that lead to different outcomes. And its absolutely fine and even beautiful to be unique from other people and their works.
How come other people can make reeeeally cool stuff, but mine looks like it was made by throwing some craft equipment at a wall and hoping for the best. Share you secrets!!

Okay guys, this is a “once in a lifetime” opportunity, lol 😉
Due to my current financial situation, I’ve decided to sell this one of a kind “Invader Zim” blanket. The only thing that’s different from this pic is that I added a border to the blanket. I can best compare the size to a throw that would fit a twin bed. Needs to be delicately washed. Tumble dry low should be okay.
Since I spent a lot of money on the materials and this took me a few months to make, I’ll be pricing this blanket at $300 USD (with free shipping). I can only ship to the U.S. with this item. So if you’re interested, send me a dm. Payment method can be discussed through the message (no cash or checks though).

people on tumblr tend to be pretty good about the whole “you should pay artists thing” but i just want to put out there: that includes fibre artists
i can’t count the number of times i’ve been knitting or embroidering something and someone is like “oh can you make me one?” and then they get offended when i tell them they’d have to pay me.
real talk: nice yarn/wool is expensive. sewing machines are expensive. for every handmade skirt or stuffed animal you see online there are at least a half-dozen prototypes in the creator’s closet that can’t be sold.
and that’s not even getting into the time spent on these projects. i have some things i’ve probably spent in excess of 100 hours on. i can’t even fathom making a living wage knitting stuff, because nobody would ever pay that much.
tl:dr; fibre artists deserve to be paid for their time and skill just like visual artists and if you can “buy something just like that at walmart for $5″ please just do that and stop wasting our time
