so i got a few messages earlier today saying that there was a fic written by someone with writing that seemed very similar to mine. i looked into it, discovered some things were copied word for word and the only difference was who it was written about.

this honestly is so fucking discouraging as writer. especially after contacting the person who wrote the other fic and having them deny it when the proof is right there

for the sake of being peaceful im not gonna say who it is, but going forward if there's a similar situation to this, im not gonna hold back with what i say. writers work their assess of to put things out, and when people come and take their words and claim them as their own, it puts a dent in the enjoyment of writing.

that being said, writing should be something that comes from you so that you enjoy it, and copying other peoples work just doesn't seem enjoyable.

i may take a small break from writing, i may not. but its actually so fucking disrespectful and discouraging to sit behind your screen and blatantly take other peoples works to show as your own

dont knwo if this is from the same person, but once again I am stating I didn't know it was stolen at the time, I used a navi name generator. I also shocker am a real person not a computer! I didn't change it until now because I have been dealing with personal issues, and have shared about moving not only cities, but schools, and houses. As well as dealing with police reports for the last month so excuse me if I haven't dealth with this issue til now as it isnt as high up on my list of priorities rn.

Marok was visibly angered.

"He did that?!" he asked now standing.

"It's not a big deal," You bargained.

"I will talk to him," He said about to exit.

"Please don't, it's between us and I don't need my big brother fighting my battles for me," You defended, and it was the truth Marok always protected you from these type of things and in full honesty you were tired of it.

"Alright, but promise me you won't forgive him right away, I know how you are when it comes to him."

"Yeah yeah, go, the party is leaving soon," you smiled sending him off on his way to the docks.

"Y/n!" You heard someone scream from outside your pod, you went out to find Tuk, she grabbed you pulling you to the beach.

"Tuk, what is it?" You said hurriedly, keeping up with the young girls rapid pace.

"It's Neteyam! him and Ao'nung are fighting!" She said, you dropped her hand running in the direction that you now found Neteyam on top of Ao'nung and Lo'ak wrestling with some of his friends.

Marok was trying to pull Neteyam off of Ao'nung as you ran over pulling Lo'ak away from the other two.

You watched as Neteyam pushed Marok back onto the said continuing his attack on Ao'nung.

You ran over kneeling down by his face. You grabbed his arm, "Look at me Teyam," You begged you pulled at his arm but it was no help.

"Neteyam, stop please," You begged now moving to grab his face, As his eyes found yours he stopped allowing you to pull him up off of Ao'nung.

You looked to Marok, "Take them to the healers, I got him," You instructed pulling Neteyam along behind you.

I literally have been so busy between finals driving 8 hours home for my little sisters senior game (i surprised her, and it was amazing) she cried and then i cried and she won, and it was just so amazing watching how happy she was.
