Mikoto was just kind of wandering, when he saw the theater and decided to see what movies were out.

Reisi had already planned ahead on what movie he wanted, bought the tickets ahead of time, etc.

At this point neither of them are surprised to see the other. They’ve run into each other so often it’s not even funny anymore.

Reisi made a comment though, one that irritated Mikoto enough to stick around instead of leaving like he’d planned on.

And this is how Mikoto ended up watching a two hour documentary that barely interested him.

Really he could have left as soon as he realized what the movie was, but he had a point to make.

He barely manages to stay awake, but thankfully the couple times he dozed off, it was with his eyes still open (it is 100% canon he can sleep with his eyes open too).

By the end of it, Reisi is vaguely impressed with Mikoto, and even went as far as to say so.

Mikoto brushes it off, saying he’s capable of being civil, Reisi just believes what he wants to about him.

His point was clear, and Reisi realized this. Maybe he shouldn’t be so quick to judge all the time.

But the air was getting a bit too serious for either of their liking, so Reisi replied with a jab about this having been a date.

Mikoto made a face then glared, stalking off back to HOMRA.

You are speaking my language here anon.

Yata honest to gods had to drag Fushimi out to the beach. He only accepted his fate when Yata promised to get him the right sunblock.

Of course that doesn’t mean Fushimi will take a complete break from work. He knows paperwork will stack up in his absence, so he brings his PDA.

Yata gets irritated, but the fact Fushimi is even out in the first place is an accomplishment. He’ll take the small victory.

That doesn’t mean he’ll stay quiet and let him work undisturbed though.

Soon enough he’s shouting as he runs towards the water, telling Fushimi to watch him surf.

The latter rolls his eyes, but does look up long enough to watch the dork.

He’ll never admit it, but it’s impressive Yata is decent.

If he wipes out he’d never let him hear the end of it, though.

Eventually when Yata comes back he’s badgering Fushimi to get in the water at least once.

They go back and forth for a few minutes, but finally Yata is getting his way with a grin.

Fushimi doesn’t really see the point, but if he doesn’t have to stay in long he’ll do it just so he can get back to his work sooner.

Little did he realize Yata planned on splashing him as soon as he could.

Unable to let that stand, a splash war soon ensued, just as Yata had been hoping.

They only stopped once they were out of breath and had to.

After they were dry and on the way back, Fushimi quietly admitted that hadn’t been the worst way to spend a day.

Yata grinned, another small victory.

MikoTotsu watching a horror movie together?

I don’t have the focus for a drabble currently so I hope headcanons are ok.

Totsuka doesn’t mind horror, but the movies that are overly bloody unsettle him, and jump scares always get him. Mikoto doesn’t care one way or the other.

The first time they watched one together, Mikoto honestly hadn’t been paying attention to what was on TV.

Totsuka came and joined him, wanting to see what King was up to and if he was awake.

He’d never seen the movie, and it was the very beginning, so he got curious.

Mikoto didn’t mind, Totsuka being around was always relaxing, so he almost dozed off.

Until Totsuka suddenly grabbed him with a yelp at a jump scare.

Of course Mikoto thought something was actually wrong, but after a moment he realized what’d happened.

Mikoto’s amusement was clear in his eyes, and seeing Totsuka cling to him like that was adorable.

Totsuka gets a little huffy when he notices Mikoto is paying more attention to him than the movie, but doesn’t really do anything about it other than say it just caught him off guard.

Eventually it becomes an unspoken ritual of sorts, every weekend.

Only one movies ever unsettles Mikoto, and neither of them speak about it after it ends.

Sincline being a Dragon over a comet or ship AU

Inspiration comes from @nerd-bastard and @akira-ni-nekora

After having the Paladins retrieve the comet and taking it from him, Lotor quickly realized that no, this was not, in fact, an inanimate object.

It didn’t take long for it to be apparent to him, after a closer inspection he could clearly make out the shape of something beneath the surface.

Unsure of what it was though, he was cautious at first.

His generals are who encouraged him to see this through, this is what he was after, might as well see it through to the end.

“It could still be helpful!”

Deciding they’re right, they start taking care of it, with Lotor at the forefront.

Things are ok in the beginning, it was a simple enough task for them to figure out how to keep this giant egg warm.

But incubating it isn’t enough.

They all get worried when they realize the movement is starting to slow.

It only takes Lotor a bit of thinking to figure out what’s wrong.

This egg had been stuck inbetween realities for so long, it can’t survive without Quintessence.

So, he uses whatever methods necessary to get it the source of life it needs, be it through stealing from the Empire or channeling what little he knows about Altean magic to use his own Quintessence to sustain it.

Ezor teases him over getting attached before it even hatches.

He brushes it off, sees it as protecting an investment, nothing more.

Until, it finally hatches.

Seeing a Dragon of all things, is not what any of them expected.

The little thing immediately latches onto and imprints upon Lotor, recognizing the feeling of his Quintessence.

They now have a bigger responsibility, one which they all take seriously.

Dragons, of course, existed in their reality, but it’s unsure of what happened to them, or if any of them are still around anywhere.

It’s not entirely hard to find food to feed the young Dragon, dubbed Sincline by Lotor.

Worse comes to worst, Haggar does try to send spies after them... (Rip Raht).

Sincline seemed to grow at more of an accelerated pace, Lotor can only assume it’s due to the Quintessence.

The reptile becomes increasingly protective of his mama papa.

This further amuses Ezor, and even Acxa now.

Said protectiveness extends to the girls too of course, since it’s clear Lotor cares about them.

Lotor is unbothered, except when Sincline takes it upon himself to try and fly off on his own to hunt.

He has to make sure his child Dragon isn’t found by anyone else after all, who knows what others would try to do.

As he gets bigger, and older, it becomes clear Lotor does need to train him, to some extent, if only so he’s not like a hyperactive golden retriever.

Sincline is certainly smart, which Lotor acknowledges often (with a hint of pride in his voice), since he picks up on and understands what Lotor is saying.

It’s not until they’re hit with a surprise attack that they find out what the young Dragon is completely capable of.

Lotor and the girls barely have time to react, before Sincline has already gone on the defensive.

His fire is seemingly far more powerful than any weapon the Galra have created, which stuns them all.

Before they can even get into defensive positions themselves, Sincline has taken the threat out himself.

Lotor is completely amazed, and impressed. He thanks his generals for talking him into taking care of this egg.

He’s completely enthralled with this Dragon, and never regrets not having a ship over him.
