One thing about documenting small-local gigs like these are the some limitation about tools, like borrowed cameras, forgotten memory card, snatching god-knows-whose-cigarettes-left-on-the-table, stolen lighters, cheap locally brewed alcohol that gets you high even before the music starts, trying to keep steady and your gear safe while you get a little queasy running here and there trying to get a nice moment to capture. 

But here you go, on the spot shoot collaboration between me an a friend who was kind enough to entrust me with his camera while I’m drunk and still wanting to shoot some pictures, Asyam. God knows who shot which picture, I remember one or two pictures I shot but let’s just make it safe that we both were little bit high took these pictures. Edited by me, in full sobriety.

The night I went for a short walk before picking up my bf on the train station. Banyak yang mau kuceritakan dibalik foto-foto ini. It’s been awhile since I shot using manual lens, and my eye focus kinda sucks... “Just do free focus” I thought, anggap aja lagi motret pake disposable camera. Well see later. Foto-foto ini jg kuambil sambil jalan kaki, mengumpulkan nyali yang dulunya mudah untuk memotret orang, objek di jalanan udah nggak se-luwes dulu. Sulit. Malu. Kebanyakan mikir. Padahal sekalinya udah menemukan satu dua foto yang aku suka, bahagianya minta ampun dan nggak pengen berhenti.
