Kei would seem a bit shocked, blinking a few times but unable to meet Yu's gaze.
"Oh. That's..." He managed a small chuckle. "No wonder Jun was trying to get me to talk to you so much–"
The autumn air was a bit crisp today. Not unusual, the weather got cold early this year. There was a light sprinkle of snow, but it melted instantly the second it touched the ground. Some people seemed nervous about it, given the sudden decent of a rather horrid winter storm just the previous year. It was natural to be cautious after such an event.
Habiki hustled through the streets, carrying a small bag and two cups of coffee in a drink carrier. He hurriedly entered Jun's place of work when he finally reached it, shaking out his hair to release it of any snow. The snow may be melting on the ground, but it absolutely clung to him. Again, it's not a surprise. He was so cold that he was practically a magnet to the stuff. He took a deep breath. Briefly, he set down the bag to fix his face mask, grabbing the bag again and continuing to the reception desk.
".. Jun left his lunch again," His voice was raspy from lack of use, and his eyes just slightly squinted behind his glasses while he tried to adjust to the difference in lighting. When given the all-clear, he continued on, heading right to the man's office. He knocked lightly on the door, not wanting to interrupt anything further as he stood outside, looking very much like a lost puppy as he did so.
...Who did Jun say his patient for this hour was? Eh, probably no one he knew, so this shouldn't be too big of a deal. Just enter, drop off the coffee and food, and then leave. Simple enough, right?
Nozaki would be sitting in a chair, he felt the cold breeze graze his neck before habiki even entered as He'd turn to face his old friend
"...hello kei."

"I.. see."
He glances around the room a bit, anywhere but him, and fixes his face mask a few times out of clear habit and an attempt to self soothe. He's nervous, and try as he might to hide it he knew Nozaki can read him like an open book.
"It's.. not my intention. I just- ..I don't know. I didn't think you wanted to see me."

Kei seized up immediately, going from relaxed to tense in mere seconds. He swallows audibly, but no words come out of his mouth. Instead, all he could really do was stare owlishly at Yu. He glances between Yu and Jun before slowly setting the things in his hand before he dropped them thanks to the tremble that was building.
".. Y—" He stopped himself from saying his name, it felt... wrong to for some reason. He clears his throat. "..Nozaki. It's.. uh- I.. I didn't — Apologies for the intrusion I can... leave."

"I wouldn't be so sure of yourself."
A slight chuckle left him before the storm overtook him, hiding him from Nozaki once more. The effect the snow had was lessened due to the coverage Nozaki had, but would it be enough?
Nozaki would trudge through the snow until he'd finally happen upon habiki, glaring the fellow iamx subject down
"....I'm here...you can stop tormenting the city."
@marcus-and-paint-it-black
The man turned with a bored look in his eye, the storm visibly stretching around them to only enclose the pair. A trap, no doubt. His eyes dragged their gaze from the edge of the storm to meet Nozaki's glare. Steam billowed from his mask as he took a breath.
"How kind of you to offer yourself up."

Habiki tilts his head, hands still in his pockets.
"No matter.. what.."
His speech slurred, like he was about to say something, but he was prevented from getting the words out. His mask seemed to cling tighter to his skin, the veins that were typically hidden underneath suddenly appearing for a split second before his rigid demeanor returned.
"Then I suppose we should get this over with."
Nozaki would trudge through the snow until he'd finally happen upon habiki, glaring the fellow iamx subject down

"Are you sure you're alright? Why don't you take a moment to rest? The storm hasn't quite gotten to my power yet.."
"Joseph have you seen the generator? I wanna make sure it has enough gas in it just in case we lose power.." Sakura tilted her head as she looked up from her laptop in order to look at her husband, violet eyes slightly creased with concern behind her glasses. She looked outside then, chewing on her bottom lip.
"Seems like it's going to be a bad one this year.. Strange how the weather suddenly seemed to change.."
"Yeah...morioh gets hit with intense winters sometimes but this is nuts..."
Joseph would check the audits for the generator
"Uuuh...yeah, yeah Aznavour and Takeuchi got gas for it last sunday..."
He'd look at the snow outside...growing slightly concerned

Nothing seemed to land a solid hit, a low chuckle passing through the wind before the temperature lifted and the heavy feeling upon Nozaki left.
"You'll have your fight soon enough... I'm sure you can wait, even if the town can't."
As Nozaki pushed through the storm, suddenly the temperature dropped even lower. The wind picked up, and it was incredibly hard to keep moving forward. Almost like time for him had drastically slowed, each step felt like it took hours to make. Through the screaming winds, a voice broke through, clear as day over the storm that surrounded him.
"Nozaki.... You.. have a debt to pay. A heavy price for one such as you... Careful where you step, it could be the last one you take."
Rain would split from nozaki barrage punching anything in sight as nozaki took out his gun, aimong around
"where are you habiki?! Dammit cone fight me, don't bring innocents into this you BASTAAAARD!!...."

"Is it really? God, I wouldn't have known-"
They sighed, nodding at his reasoning.
"Alright, let me see if I can find my coat- Should be around here somewhere.."

Fer was thankfully still running on full power at their house, not having to touch the generator they had scrounged the money together for. At the knocking, they startled, hand pausing over the page of braille they were reading. They stood with a bit of difficulty, hand bracing their abdomen.
"Mr. Rivera?"
The urgency in his voice had them moving as quickly as they could to the front door, following the line of string Kazuki had lining the house to help them navigate just the slightest bit easier. Opening the door, the blast of cold immediately sent a shiver down their spine, skin lighting up with goosebumps.
"Oh my, please come in, you sound like you're freezing!"

Power was failing. Phonelines were cut. All form of contact was practically lost, the storm effectively caging Morioh from the outside world.
Oddly enough.. Kazuki's phone pinged with a single, new message from an unknown number.
['Reporting for duty. Codename: YETI. Mission has begun. No further contact required. I know my orders. Traitor will be terminated.']
Kazuki would be doing rehabilitation in jail, wanting to get better for his new partner. They had a child on the way and he was doing rather well...until he saw the text on his phone, his smile shattered
"Ohh...fuck."

IAMX PATIENT REPORT FROM: DESK OF T. KAZUKI
Subject: K-- H-b-ki
Treatment: fire exposure
Results: Successful. Subject developed stand after round 3 4 5
6 of fire exposure.
Stand: long range phenomena type. Storm based like Yu Nozaki. Creates snow and slows whatever comes near stand user to a halt. Freezing them slowly. Name TBD.
Bidders: ***** from volgograd
**PD in America. Denied. Couldn't handle nozaki. Cannot be trusted with a nuclear winter capable stand after all.
CCP Contact. May deliberate on this one. Very promising.
-------------------
Follow up report XX-XX-1987
This is bad. Really REALLY bad. Subject broke out in an attempt to flee. Attempting to subdue caused him to reflexively activate a terrible storm. Worst to hit morioh in years. May cause local confusion. Was able to subdue him myself. We have to put him in cryo. Fuck. FUCK.
--------------------
"Iamx is fucking FALLING APART. NOZAKI IS CAUSING NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. I will see if I can activate the sleeper. Have him hunt down the traitor... no matter what happens to me he'll follow his instructions to the letter. It's what I reprogrammed him to do...

The winters in morioh rarely seem to get out of hand...however the snow clouds roll in much earlier today...one flake...two flakes...the kids come out to play.
One inch....two inches... no school!
One foot...two feet...
This is...bad....really really bad.
Happiness is a warm gun arc start!!

"..yes.. please."
They sighed.
"I can't go back.. I have no where to go.."
Fer quietly approached where their stand had last spotted Marcus, footsteps light as a feather as they used Visions in order to get around without knocking anything over. They were only acting on orders. They have to do this. Disobeying Arturo was practically treason in their mind
And yet.. there was this little.. itch in the back of their mind. Something telling them not to go through with the order. Their hand fell slightly limp, still slightly outstretched in front of them. Their arms were littered with small unintentional cuts from Visions' razor sharp wings. A conflicted expression formed on their face. They flinched as a moth left the swarm, making a beeline for Marcus. They felt their heart drop as the stand prepared to cut him but they couldn't move, couldn't find the words to stop it..--
(@revived-moments)
Marcus would jump up, paint it black summoning itself and shielding it's user with it's metallic wings, screeching
"What the-...f...fer?..."

"No.. No I don't remember that.."
They shook their head as they spoke, the moths beginning to calm as one flew over to Marcus with a chirp.
"I don't... remember anything.. I want.. I want to know.. what I was like."

"N.. No- No I don't."
They pressed their back to a wall, taking a shuddery breath as they attempted to calm themselves and the stand swarming them.

The moths all took off beginning to swarm around Fer. They looked.. terrified, hand still slightly in front of them as they stared at Marcus. They stumbled away from him, clutching at their sleeves.
"I'm sorry- I'm sorry I- Orders are orders but I-"
They shook their head, sightless eye closing as the moths grew more restless around them, more tatters appearing on their clothes.
