I had a big, productive weekend so Monday morning was a struggle to get up and Coach the Babes for the AM sessions, let alone get my own ass into gear. I had a the CrossFit Babes Christmas Party/ end of challenge to finalize all of Friday, attend the Christmas Party on Saturday, and Sunday, well naturally I spent the whole day at bunnings and then scrubbing my out door furniture because apparently I'm nesting. On days like yesterday when performing a sit up from bed was a movement that I celebrated, I keep it super simple, just aiming to get the blood pumping for 30 minutes. My body is working hard at building a human, so even if it looks easy to most, it's a challenge for me. Just finished coaching for the morning and am in dire need of some floating time in the pool. Because A) it's so stinking hot and B) I feel like I'm going to explode today! This baby has intense growth spurts where I don't feel comfortable in anything let alone Lycra 😳 I got home and straight into my bikinis. Oh and another reminder to anyone and everyone, never assume how far along someone is. Top comments last week were "so you're about to pop!?" Or "Ohh! 😯 Not long now then?" My heart sunk each time, thinking I'm only just past half way. As if I didn't realize I'm carrying a 'wide load' belly, these comments just don't help at all. Considering becoming a hermit for the last trimester 🦀 a really big, belly'd hermit. Lucky I love this kid so much already 💕 it's all going to be worth it come March 2016 👶🏽! And the Christmas Party for CrossFit Babes is done for another year. All the Babes looked absolutely gorgeous, I love seeing you each day in activewear but it's such a nice change. I always finish wishing I could express my gratitude for each of you better but I hope you can each feel it. Bump Update | 23 Weeks 💕 It’s a funny thing in hindsight but before any major life-changing event, my husband and I go through a string of unfortunate events. Just one after another as if the universe is like, ‘you know what! Before you go through this monumental event, see if you can handle this!’ In the past 5 weeks, to name just a few, we’ve had my car towed, our house broken into, our roller door broke and fell onto Clay’s car damaging it, which was followed by him getting food poisoning for three days and yesterday the airline lost our luggage! (Thankfully they found it again and we have got it back. 🎉) Now, I’m not one to usually look at all the negatives and things could certainly be worse, I know that. Honestly our lives are filled with lots of happiness and love, but the above does make you wonder ‘What did we do wrong?’  My friend @kat_orchard messaged me yesterday after finding out about our luggage and said, ‘I can’t believe your bad luck, I swear to god you guys are gearing up to win the lotto.’ And that clicked she was 100% right.  I have a miracle in my belly. It’s the most beautiful thing we’ve ever encountered feeling him/her dance and kick around in there and sometimes you need things to keep you grounded. At the end of the day, we have each other, our family and that is better than any combination of winning numbers. 💗 Happy 23 Weeks Baby! While the above Bump Update isn't about symptoms, I think it's just as important to document the happenings and how you make me look at life in a totally different perspective. P.s. I am doing something SO exciting today, will post about it after lunch. EEEP! P.p.s Yes these are new bikinis and they are comfy, I just bought separate sizes and they’re my new favourites! Started this magical day with a hike #MountLofty with hubby and sis-in-law. It was 8 degrees when we got up! It took us about 50 minutes to reach the top, a 4km Hike up this mountain but it was so worth it for this beautiful view! Tell you what I've never felt so heavy, it took some deep breathing to get this Mumma up this mountain but Coco and I got it done! 💕 #southaustralia #adelaide (at Mount Lofty Summit)
