Flatspot Magazine is the new on- and offline media platform for the Dutch skateboarder. The magazine is created by skateboarders, for skateboarders. Flatspot wants to show skateboarding as it should be. The Flatspot crew consists of Rimmert Schoorlemmer, Rob Rouleaux and Mathijs Tromp. These skateboarding editors go out there to make videos, shoot photos and give skaters a hard time answering their questions.

Last weekend was the 11th edition of the Dutch Skateboarding championships in skatepark Ladybird, Tilburg. Daan van der Linden left the building with first place, Douwe Macaré got second and third place was for competition veteran Woody Hoogendijk. The contestants didn´t make it easy for the judges, who had to choose between the ridiculous high kickflip from Douwe Macaré-3 meters to the floor- and Woody´s technical fliptricks. But eventually the switch bluntslide, millerflip and boneless to wallride made Daan the ultimate winner of this year´s NK skateboarding.
