You can definitely change a white character in a show/movie/book to a POC! The only time when there would need to be discussion is if said character has family members already in the game. If that's the case then we ask that you message us privately as your character will need to be half/adopted and we'll need to discuss it with the other character's mun to see if they are okay with changing canon relations to half/adopted.
